Nice location to the beach. Very peaceful!
Nice community
We enjoyed the well stocked kitchen and the cleanliness of the condo. The patio and beach chairs were a nice bonus. The twin beds were very uncomfortable and the dresser and side tables in the master bedroom had most of the drawer falling out when opened. The kitchen sink has a leak. We’ll be back to Shipwatch but not likely to this unit unless updates are made.
The unit was a nice clean spacious one. It was convenient to walk to the pool and the beach. Lovely decor and plenty of bedding. We had a few issues though. The front door keypad lock was very finicky. 10 digit code had to be put in with precise timing. Take too long and it timed out and you start over. If the rhythm was off it didn’t work. Very frustrating. Then the deadlock on the inside did not work. The icemaker didn’t work. We called and they said someone would come but never did. The water faucets for rinsing your feet or body after the beach or pool did not work.
The property was exactly as described and so close to the beach! We can’t wait to come back. It is far from amenities like restaurants and stores, 20-30 mins, but… we enjoyed the pool and beach. The Uber drivers and grocery delivery had no problem finding the unit. Take your beach towels and enjoy your time!
We loved the location of this unit - it was wonderful to be able to see both the pool and the ocean from our 1st floor porch. The furnishings were fine and the master mattress was very comfortable. We did notice the sulfur water smell in the showers, but it was fine in the sinks, etc. Kitchen was well-equipped for cooking. I do think it's important to note that the beach has eroded from the north end of the island down to Shipwatch, so there is no beach directly infront of the building during high tide. There is plenty of space starting just south, so it wasn't a big deal at all, but it's nice to know where you're headed! We had a great stay and would definitely return.
