I absolutely love 9 Fishers Alley and have stayed here several times—it never disappoints. The home is always spotless and ready upon arrival. The kitchen is fully stocked (no hunting around for a single butter knife or missing cutting board!) which makes cooking easy and enjoyable. Each bedroom feels like its own little retreat. My kids adore the bunk room—it’s spacious enough for evening activities and also the perfect spot for them to unwind before a day of adventure. The three King/Queen bedrooms are equally spacious, beautifully decorated, and so comfortable. The whole house has a breezy, beachy vibe that makes it easy to relax—whether you’re curled up in the living room, gathered around the gorgeous dining table, or diving into a lively board game with family and friends. The location is ideal: just a 5-minute walk to the beach and a short drive to great restaurants and activities. You can even stroll over to Wild Dunes Resort for coffee, a quick bite, or a spa day (which I highly recommend). The new pool and deck are perfect for hot afternoons when you’d rather lounge at home than trek to the beach. I don’t usually write reviews, but this property truly stands out. Every stay here has been a joy from start to finish—I can’t recommend it enough!
Fisher’s Alley is a beautiful, well-equipped home with a wonderful floor plan that worked well for our group of three families. The kids’ bunk room with the attached full bath worked out perfectly for the four kids. The other three bedrooms were very comfortable with clean bedding and plenty of space. The king room and queen bedroom could use a ceiling fan though as it did seem to get warm at night. The living room could also use larger furniture to accommodate more people, but the couch as very comfortable as is. The large dining room table was perfect to fit 8 of us with the 2-seater next to it accommodating the other two people in our group. The pool out back was beautiful. The bugs were rough in August, even on the deck as they climbed all through the wicker deck furniture, so we couldn’t use the nice seating area actually in the yard but overall the house was great! We had a wonderful visit and would definitely stay again! Thank you!
We stayed at this rental for a beach getaway and overall had a nice experience. The house itself was well-equipped and matched the description—comfortable enough for a short stay, though it could’ve used a deeper clean to really shine. That said, the proximity to the beach was clutch—we could get there in minutes, which made beach-hopping super easy. The outdoor space, however, was disappointing. It was covered with debris from surrounding trees, and there was no good way to clean it off—a blower would’ve made a big difference. The outdoor furniture wasn’t very comfortable either, which meant we didn’t spend as much time outside as we’d hoped. Also worth noting: the kitchen got pretty warm, especially when cooking, which made meal prep a bit uncomfortable. All in all, great location and decent house, but the outdoor area needs some attention. A few improvements could really elevate the experience.
Home was clean and well kept. Very happy with the condition of the property at arrival. Easy access to the beach and an easy drive over to Charleston. Plenty of space for a family with a great bunk room
The house was truly beautiful; we absolutely adored the decor and the layout was great. Our group of nine girls found all the bedrooms very comfortable, and while we didn't have children on our trip, we felt the bunk rooms would be more appropriate for younger guests or young adults. The kitchen was exceptionally well-stocked with tons of cooking supplies, glassware, and everything we needed. We loved the quiet and beautiful neighborhood, perfect for walks, and being just minutes from the 52nd beach access was fantastic. We highly recommend renting beach chairs and umbrellas from a local company; it was so convenient having them set up for us before 10 AM each day, saving us the hassle of carrying everything. While we loved everything about the interior of the house and its location, our one disappointment was the back deck and pool area. It could have been significantly better maintained. There were children's toys scattered everywhere, the pool was noticeably unclean with debris, and leaves covered the deck. The back deck furniture was also disorganized and looked sloppy. We believe the owners should seriously consider the upkeep of the backyard and pool area, as it was unfortunately an eyesore and not enjoyable for relaxation.
We just returned from the most *incredible* family vacation at this dreamy beach rental, and honestly, I’m tempted to keep it a secret—but it’s just TOO GOOD not to share! From the moment we stepped in, we were wrapped in vacation magic. The house is decorated in the breeziest, beachiest style that immediately made us feel like we were on island time—light, airy, and full of coastal charm. Let’s talk about the *heated pool*. WOW. Absolute paradise. Not only was it the perfect temperature for morning dips and evening swims, but it was also loaded with every pool toy imaginable. Our kids practically lived in the pool, and we might’ve joined them more than we care to admit! Beach access? It’s right there. A gorgeous deck walkway leads you straight to the sand in just minutes. We loved not having to pack up the car or hike miles to get our toes in the ocean—major win! And when we came back, the outdoor shower was a lifesaver for rinsing off sandy toes and salty skin. The house itself is stocked like a dream—literally everything you could need or want. The kitchen had everything from blenders to baking sheets, the bedrooms were cozy and inviting, and the living areas were perfect for relaxing after a day in the sun. And the *bunk room*? Our kids were OBSESSED. Plus, there were tons of toys and games to keep them entertained on downtime. Talk about family-friendly! They’ve truly thought of *everything*—beach chairs, blankets, toys—you name it, it’s provided. We packed so much that we didn’t even need thanks to how well-equipped the house was. There was even a big stash of pamphlets and brochures about local attractions, restaurants, and fun things to do—super helpful when planning our outings. We made the BEST memories here. Laughter, sunsets, pool days, beach walks—it was everything a family vacation should be and more. We’re already planning our return because this place? It’s not just a rental—it’s a little slice of coastal heaven. Thank you for sharing your amazing home with us. We’ll be back the *first chance* we get!
