Beautiful home on lush lot with boardwalk to marsh, large deck, wifi, central ac is described as a gorgeous, spacious, and elegant retreat that feels comfortable, functional, and thoughtfully furnished for memorable group stays. Experience island living in a charming Cape Cod-style home, nestled under fern-and-moss draped oaks in the heart of the Carolina Low Country. Enjoy a prime location, only an 8-minute walk to the beach and fun, and just a short hop to the island center featuring groceries, restaurants, shops, and entertainment. Inside, find ample space for multiple families (or a really large one). Dine in the large or small open-plan dining rooms, or grill and serve up tasty meals on the sprawling, open deck as you sip your sundowner to the tempo of a sublime sunset. There’s a large sprawling yard for volleyball, family football, or soccer, and a crab dock with a scenic view of the Intracoastal Waterway and Goat island. And there’s an outdoor shower that’s handy for rinsing off after hitting the sun-soaked beach. Plus, your island destination is pet-friendly, so there’s no need to leave the most important one at home! Under the Oaks is a quiet retreat on Isle of Palms. The sunsets are incredible. The composition of the oak trees, the marsh at high tides, and the beautiful sunsets is breathtaking. (Ok, take out your phone, the one you should have left at home, to capture an amazing piece of art!) The porch swing is a soothing sanctuary to read or have long conversations with family and friends. The family room and dining areas are large enough for a large gathering. Before going to bed, stand on the deck, close your eyes, and listen to the soft rumble of waves crashing on the beach.

The property is accommodating as general matter; however, despite the HVAC units working they do not keep up with late summer heat b/c the house is older and inadequately insulated in my opinion. We did have a heat wave come in late in the trip that made the house unbearable at night but the house would not hold temperate the first 4 days without a heat wave.

House was awesome. Plenty of room and amenities. We would definitely rent this house again. Two small notes for the kitchen - a pizza cutter would be helpful and the can opener is not great.
