Enjoy the many pleasures of no-fuss island living at this 1,444-square-foot home in the Pelican Bay neighborhood of Wild Dunes. Pelican Bay is a great home base for beach days, as you can follow the nearby path to the beach, hang out by the neighborhood swimming pool, rock your worries away on the front porch, and sit down for an alfresco dinner on the screened porch out back. This home is wonderfully located within steps of a path to the beach. Spend your days walking or riding bikes on miles of trails that wind throughout Wild Dunes, practicing your drive at the golf course, or shopping and dining in the Front Beach area of Isle of Palms. The local marina is two miles west, downtown Isle of Palms is two miles beyond, and the world-class restaurants of historic Charleston await just 17 miles west. THINGS TO KNOW Sportscards are not included; Wild Dunes amenities are limited to golf, dining, the pool, and bike trails. The pool is open seasonally from April to October. The complex pools will be closed until further notice. **Notice: Sand renourishment work will be ongoing on the beach nearby from Mid-July through Mid-September. We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home in Charleston, SC! The house was spotless, cozy, and tastefully decorated — the perfect blend of comfort and charm. The beds were incredibly comfortable, which made it easy to relax after a day of exploring. Customer service was top-notch and always quick to respond to any questions we had. The location was ideal, just a short walk to the beach and close to great restaurants and shops. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The location of the property is PERFECT. From the front porch you can hear the ocean waves. From the back porch you can watch the golfers (some of them were not very good players!!) Beds, linens, kitchen were all great. The place was clean, and we walked to the beach and dinner. Everything was so close. We went into downtown Charleston one day. That was also close and convenient. One of our gals flew into Charleston and I picked her up. That was close too! We absolutely love it and would come again! There were a ton of starfish at the beach too! Amazing!

Perfect location situated in a wild dunes neighborhood right on the golf course and across from the beach. The home itself could use a few updates. The furniture is very tired and either needs a very thorough upholstery cleaning or new cushions. The rental company provided sheets and towels that again were pretty ratty and old. Also of note there’s very limited access to the wild dunes amenities when renting through this rental company.
