Updated townhouse with outside deck, shared pool, tennis, pickleball and beach

Extremely disappointing and misleading experience with Casago and our Wild Dunes stay. What was advertised and what we actually experienced were two completely different things. Before our trip, we were notified that beach access could be “interrupted for one or two days” because of construction. We planned our entire vacation around that information. Instead, the beach access was effectively disrupted for the entirety of our trip. This was not a minor inconvenience or a brief interruption—it fundamentally changed the vacation we paid for. The biggest issue is that Casago had information about the scope of the construction that was not accurately communicated to us before our stay. Had we been told the truth—that beach access could be impacted for the entire trip—we would have made a completely different decision about booking this property. For a vacation at Wild Dunes, direct beach access is not some insignificant amenity. It is a major reason people pay a premium to stay there. To advertise a property with beach access while failing to accurately disclose that access would be unavailable or severely disrupted for the duration of the stay is unacceptable. What makes this even worse is how Casago has handled the situation after the fact. We have made numerous requests for them to make this right, yet Casago has done nothing meaningful to compensate us or resolve the situation. Despite explaining that the actual experience was drastically different from what was represented before booking, our concerns have essentially gone unanswered. We were extremely disappointed, especially because this was a family vacation that we had planned and paid for in advance. The lack of transparency before the trip was bad enough, but the complete lack of accountability afterward has made the experience even more frustrating. Casago needs to take responsibility for how this was handled. Guests deserve an accurate description of construction, beach access, and major disruptions—not vague language that minimizes what they will actually experience once they arrive. And when a property is materially different from what was advertised, guests deserve a company that is willing to acknowledge the problem and make a reasonable effort to fix it. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering booking through Casago ask very specific questions about ongoing construction and beach access and get the answers in writing before paying. Based on our experience, I would not trust vague construction disclosures without independently verifying the actual conditions. What should have been a relaxing family vacation turned into a very disappointing and frustrating experience because the situation was not honestly represented upfront—and Casago's refusal to meaningfully address the issue afterward has only made it worse.

4.5 out of 5 stars Really enjoyed our stay! The view of the golf course was amazing, and it’s just a short walk to the beach — super convenient. The condo was comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing trip - wagon and beach chairs were provided, which was super helpful!! The only small downsides were the WiFi being a bit slow, no extra towels inside, and no beach towels provided. Not a big deal — just plan on doing a little laundry and picking up or bring some beach towels. Overall, it’s a great spot and we’d definitely come back!

Comfortable home. Very clean. Lots of supplies to make trips to the beach easy.

This home was perfect for our group - spacious, stylish, and located in a safe and peaceful area. We loved all the extra amenities: beach chairs, bikes, games, boogie boards - you name it! There was plenty of room for everyone to relax, whether we were hanging out together or finding a quiet corner. Highly recommend! One note: the second bedroom has a queen bed, not a king.

This home worked well for our family. There were lots of spaces for sitting, both inside and outside. The decor is lovely. Ping pong was fun! The owner provided lots of beach equipment and bikes, which is always bonus. The kitchen had lots of cookware. We would stay here again. :D
