Eat up, because the beach is only a few steps away, and a whole day of sun and sand awaits! Challenge a friend to a game of tennis on the shared court, explore the dunes and lush vegetation that surround the complex, and finish the day with a nice glass of wine and some good conversation while you relax in the deck chairs. Later, spread out in the spacious living area to enjoy a good show on the flatscreen cable TV or catch up on your favorite novel. What’s nearby: Kiawah Island features over 10 miles of shoreline perfect for long night walks, mountain bikes, and ocean adventure. We absolutely loved this unit. Location wise it’s perfect - super close to boardwalk 18, which has a bathroom at the end. Can walk down the stairs or take the lift to the ground floor. From the unit itself, you have a perfect view of the ocean. All amenities were excellent within the unit, including the upgraded couches that were super comfortable! Vacasa was also very responsive to a few minor issues we had when we first arrived. Highly recommend this unit and we will definitely be back!

Take an elevator or stairs down two floors and you were on the ground level. From there, it is a one minute walk on a beautiful boardwalk to the beach. The beach is huge at low tide. Plenty of room for anything you want to do from riding bikes, running, playing bocce ball, throwing a frisbee, playing in the surf. We had a group of 42 adults and 217 year-old girls. Plenty of room for the four of us. The balcony is great, from there and also the windows of the place you can see your own umbrella or chair or whatever. Neighbors are quiet. Plenty of parking. Being close to Knight Herron and the sanctuary is great. By the way, the ice cream at the sanctuary is fantastic!

Right on the water and next to a beach path with 4 water stations for rinsing off. We brought our 3.5 year old so hit up the beach daily. Main complaint is that no beach towels provided (we flew so didn’t pack them) and that outlets don’t all work. We had to use clips and a spare blanket on the kids room to keep it halfway dark, would help if there were curtains but it was workable.

Title summarizes the main things for me. Furniture is a bit older, but still very comfortable. Very clean, no mold issues. Was a little sparse in the kitchen and needs more pans and cutlery, but definitely not a deal-breaker for me. I would happily rent this unit again. Make sure Vacasa sends you a gate pass before arrival. This was the first time in 30 years our renting agency didn't seem aware that it was necessary and it was a huge hassle to get it fixed.
