The AC in the bedroom does not work at all. Vacasa gave us a fan to blow air from the living room into the BR, which worked somewhat. Also, the AC was pretty damp; towels and bathing suits never really dried. Otherwise, the place was very nice.
Great location to the beach. Property was clean and we had everything we needed. Would love to stay again and would definitely recommend.
We have stayed here four times and we keep coming back!
This was the 4th year at Kiawah and the 2nd time the same villa and loved it. It was clean, quiet and so convenient to the beach. The beach was so nice and not crowded at all.
Access to the beach.
The location of the unit can't be beat. However, as many previous renters have complained, the back door can't be locked, so the unit is unsecured at all times. Since it's on the ground floor, anyone can walk up the stairs to the deck and enter the unit. While Kiawah Island is a relatively safe place, it's unnerving to sleep in an unsecured unit. The unit itself is a little shabby, with carpet and draperies needing replacement. However, the walk in shower is a nice amenity, and the kitchen is well stocked with pans, knives, dishware. The wifi works well.
