Nice clean home, comfortable beds, nice communal living areas. The kitchen utensils are a bit of a hodge-podge, but was enough to cook at home with. Very close to the beach and very close to the park / nature center for young kiddos. We had a lovely stay! Would recommend!
Stunning but super cozy! I absolutely loved the layout. Very well stocked with dishes and starter kit of dish soap, laundry soap etc to get you started. The beach entrance with stairs is just yards from the front door. Beach entrance with ramp maybe one block or less from the front door. I want to make families aware that if you rent beach chairs, umbrellas, and carts for your stay the charge for the week not by the day and there is no refund on the items. The company to rent those items are located in the white binder they provide that gives you a great layout of the area. Harris and Teeter grocery store has everything you will need for your stay and they were even welcoming and very helpful. We highly recommend this place and the area.
The home has been recently renovated. It is clean and well lit.
We really liked the proximity to the beach. It was not beach view but it was such an easy walk or ride and a very quiet area. There are a lot of fun kid books that were all about local beach/low country topics and we enjoyed the screened in porch and black stone grill immensely. The kitchen was well equipped and a great space for cooking. It was great rental in a very nice part of the island. We would totally come back.
470 Oceanwoods was spotless! Everything worked great & had all the kitchen utensils we needed. We stayed in most evenings & enjoyed eating on the deck or screened in porch. It was like being in a forest. The sound bar in the den was a plus. The walk to the beach was very easy & short. Our only complaint would be that the pillows lacked life, so if you are a pillow nerd, bring your own.
Renovated, clean, close to beach, great A/C!
