Location of this home is great. 3 min walk to the beach. The beach is nice and not overcrowded. Has a sufficient kitchen, big dining room table. One room with 2 bunk beds on the 1st floor, 2nd room with king bed upstairs. Needs some maintenance repairs. One window had about 1/4 inch gap up top and would let bugs in. We killed bugs like flies, wasps and the like every morning. The major issue we had was fleas. I believe they are definitely outside and were hopping on us as soon as we stepped outside. They were also in the home, not as bad at first, so whether we let more in by going in and out or they multiplied, we don't know. But when we got home we basically left everything in the garage and used a flea fumigator to kill all. All of us got plenty of flea bites as well. Vacasa was very good about communication and we could have gotten a full refund the first day. We had opted to stay since we didn't think the fleas were inside. But they definitely were inside as well. We got a $300 refund without asking for it. So, without the bug issue this property would have gotten 5 stars from us.

This was a nice house, but the amenity card isn’t included in the price you pay. Without the amenity card you can’t access the pools or restaurants. So it’s pointless to stay at this property unless you plan on paying for the amenity card. Getting in the gate was nothing but trouble as the gate says we were not registered. The only way we got in and was given a temporary pass was because I showed them the email. Called the rental property management once in the house and was told they would get it fixed. The same issue the next day. We were only there for the weekend, so there was no point in calling anymore. Very disappointed in this stay for the price I paid, we drove 40 min to Folly beach to have something to do.

Needs to be updated in multiple ways. Downstairs bathroom and kitchen are dated. Furniture was nice but living room new blinds and doors.

The bedroom upstairs was really comfortable. It had a great view of the golf course and wildlife outside. There was an alligator that we saw everyday as well as several deer. The tv had different streaming services which my husband enjoyed. However- it was not clean and there was no broom or vacuum available. We asked for two days for something but Vacasa would not send one. The floor was seriously dirty and had to wash my feel every night from just walking around the place. The kitchen had hardly anything to cook with. I get with it being a rental that you don’t want to invest a lot in these types of things but it was probably the least stocked kitchen we have ever stayed in. There was no pot holders and one small skillet. You also could not turn the air conditioner below 70 or it might freeze it up. It was beyond stifling in SC in July and it was probably 80 degrees inside when we got there. I wish they had some fans or the ability to lower the temperature more. Overall- I wish we loved this place but didn’t.
