The house was nice and secluded, very clean, and we enjoyed its convenient access to the beach, pools, and Charleston was a quick car ride away. Vacasa and the Seabrook community we stayed in really need to get their communications aligned. We we consistently getting conflicting information. What you have to pay for to access the amenities such the pool (and which pool for that matter) was confusing and a bit frustrating. We kept being told we had to do it before we arrived, but it can be done after the fact at the office just outside the gate, but they are not open weekends. Who wants to pay $300 for the week until you see what amenities are available for yourself? Also I was told I had to purchase the amenity card then pay an extra $50/day for our group to go to the Club Pool, which was incorrect. We were also told by one person we had to pay extra for the exercise room at the Lake House the same day 2 people from our party used the facility without issue. No two people seemed to have the same knowledge or information. Also it seemed like the amenity pass was just a cash grab fee you had to pay for just to have access to other items, which had addition costs on top of that. Also being constantly pinged daily to add in our car information to their systems was just unnecessary. Although I imagine maybe some people drive to this rental in their own car I'd imagine most people fly into the area and pick up a rental car. Knowing rental car make, model and license plate before arrival isn't an option, so being constantly pinged to enter this information was just not ideal. I ended up just putting in anything to stop it from happening then re-entering at rental car pickup. Maybe just have a checkbox in your system to allow for rental car designation, then ping guests on day of check-in instead to enter the information? Otherwise we enjoyed the property a lot and would probably come back sometime. We also enjoyed seeing the wildlife. The property we rented seemed to be a home for a whole family of deer. The community was very peaceful although it may have been a different story had we stayed during peak season.
Our extended family (ages 7-50) had a great time. The house is conveniently located. Comfortably slept 9. The dart board and ping pong table were a great addition.
This was a great house for our family beach trip! We had 6 Adults and two kids and we all enjoyed the house. Each couple had a king room which was such a nice touch. House had everything you needed for cooking, cleaning, toys/games & space! Renting bikes is the perfect route to get to the beach or pool club if you don't want to drive. We can't wait to come back!
We stayed here for one week with 4 adults and 2 children. The place is absolutely beautiful! Boys especially enjoyed fishing charter, crabbing, surfing and the pool. Grocery, restaurant and entertainment very close at Fresh Fields. Salty dog restaurant at Marina also had music and excellent food. Would highly recommend!
We booked this home to be close to our daughter for her wedding. The layout of the home was beautiful and conducive to gathering with family. The elevator was listed as an amenity and we booked the house due to this feature. Our elderly parents were staying with us. Upon arrival it was not accessible nor was it working. The property team came out and attempted to get it working. After two days of coming and going, we were told it would not be available for use. This was stressful for us and led to several close calls. They did offer a small compensation, but not what we requested. We will not rent through Vacasa again.
This Seabrook Island home is welcoming and well maintained. It is furnished with great taste. Everything works and is pleasant. The kitchen is well equiped if you enjoy cooking. We loved our stay and will return!
