Guests especially loved the fabulous sunset scenery from the covered porch and upper deck. Repeated highlights included the pool area, game room, hot tub, slide, and water features, which made the property feel fun, relaxing, and memorable. Panoramic ocean views steal the show at this private, original adobe retreat — a classic Hacienda-style home rich in charm and attention to detail. Nestled atop the foothills of Vista in San Diego's North County, this secluded estate was originally built in 1926 and sits on 1.45 acres.
The property's layout reflects authentic Hacienda design: the central kitchen, dining and living areas form the heart of the home, while the bedrooms are housed in separate wings/structures for privacy and quiet. Spanning over 3,000 sq. ft., the main house is composed of three connected structures joined by a covered loggia, creating distinct living and sleeping zones ideal for larger groups.

Property was a perfect get away for our family. Lots of space and a perfect location. Close to the beach and San Diego. Plus property included a two fully stocked kitchens, a fruit orchard, a rose garden and a fish pond. So relaxing!! Looking forward to retuning!
This was our fourth time renting here. It is a very unique property, multi levels of living spaces. Our number one reason for staying here is the pool level. Great pool with all the convenience you could want. Kitchen bathrooms fire place. Just awesome.
Sadly, I am disppointed with this property. I am concerned that with a mouse infestation this apparent that the property will be back on the market in days for the next renter. I do not believe that this unit has been checked in quite a while as the damage from the rodents was not all fresh. The house smells old and musty and this could be the result of a variety of unknown sources such as mold. I think with lots of work, the property could have great potential .
This home was absolutely amazing!
Overall place was great, the layout is great for couples getaway but not so much for a family with kids. All bedrooms are in their own casitas so that’s a challenge. Pool, slide and pool house were awesome. Place needs a couple upgrades on cooking equipment bbq and pans but overall would stay again or recommend .
Loved the spaciousness of the property. We had fun in each of the area…pool, game room, communal TV room and kitchen. Thanks for helping us an experience and wonderful get away for our family.
