The home was great with an amazing central location, in a quiet and safe neighborhood. We enjoyed the home very much and the entire experience and amenities were fantastic. A couple of minor notes: the listing says that the home has twin bunk beds in one of the bedrooms, but it is actually a twin with a trundle bed underneath. The wifi is slow, so you may want to download videos to your devices before your trip.
Location, and the pool
The house was very clean and well equipped. Some of the furniture could use some updating. Although not in the most attractive neighborhood, the location is 15-20 mins driving from most attractions, which made it very convenient as a base for our 4 day San Diego exploration.
Great location and neighborhood - 15 minutes to really anything. Loved the pool. The house itself was fairly nice but did seem like a quick flip house in terms of quality furnishings and household supplies (dishes etc.) The master sliding door did not lock and the dishwasher top rack was broken. We contacted the host and did receive a quick response. We would’ve appreciated more information from the host — i.e. the landscapers showed up and gained entry to the property unexpectedly and we had no information about trash or cleaning expectations ahead of time etc. There was also obvious cleaning oversights in the non-obvious areas (behind doors etc). It was priced well.
Creaking floors were noisy distraction. Overall rating of B
