Hideaway Zen is described as a beautifully renovated, well-appointed retreat that feels like home, with spacious interiors, lovely decor, and plenty of room for families and groups. Guests praised the comfortable beds, soft linens, relaxing showers, open living areas, and serene atmosphere that made the stay especially restful. The property was repeatedly noted as very clean, new, and well furnished, with a stylish beach-inspired design and a well-equipped kitchen that supported easy meal preparation. Its location was valued for convenient access to beaches, shops, restaurants, coffee, golf, and nearby La Jolla attractions, while still feeling quiet and peaceful inside the complex. It was a good location as it’s close to many of San Diego’s attractions. The neighborhood feels safe. Parking is unfortunately not great. It’s hard to find a parking spot after coming home after a day of exploring and playing. It’s worth considering ubering or anther pay to ride. It was a clean, comfortable and well furnished condo. Had a minor ant problem. Loved having the pool and hot tub available as well.

This place is adorable and super comfortable with lots of space. We are glad we didn’t rent a car as the parking is tough. Also, surprisingly, there was no shampoo and no salt and pepper which was surprising. When I messaged about the shampoo they said it wasn’t a covered amenity. It was awesome they had a wagon, towels, and beach chairs for the beach!

Spacious and clean unit, great for cooking. Parking was challenging. Hot tub worked well. Must navigate the complex from the map at the front of entryway.
