Shoreline Hideaway offers excellent value as a lovely, homey beachfront stay that feels like a wonderful vacation home. The property is described as comfortable, with very comfortable beds and an easy, relaxing atmosphere throughout. Guests found Shoreline Hideaway clean and nicer than expected inside. Its location is fantastic, with easy entry, walkable access to nearby attractions, and convenient private parking. The oceanfront views from the patio and primary bedroom are a standout, with guests enjoying the waves, surfers, and dolphins from the home. The well stocked kitchen and patio add to the overall phenomenal experience, and guests say they would gladly return.

Steps away from the beach with 2 queen bedrooms, one kid bed, and a full size bathroom with a shower/bath combo, family-friendly, pet-welcoming apartment that's just seconds from the beach. Yep, you'll be sipping your morning coffee with gorgeous front-facing views and salty sea air in no time! Inside. The fully stocked kitchen (think fridge, stove, oven, microwave) makes whipping up meals a breeze, while the living room is movie-night-ready with cable TV and Netflix. Want to take it outside? Step onto the patio or balcony and enjoy dinner with a view. We've thought of everything: shared coin or CC paid washer/dryer, high-speed WIFI, and all the comforts to make you feel right at home. Whether you're beach-hopping, sightseeing, or just lounging with your loved ones (pups included!), this San Diego gem is your perfect home base. Not there is no AC and heaters are provided. THINGS-TO-KNOW: Please note that there is ongoing construction within the building, and some noise may be heard during weekday work hours from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We kindly ask that you ensure you are comfortable with this prior to booking.

The location and the accommodation itself are very nice, and the parking facilities are also very convenient. Upon arrival, we noticed that the bed was not clean, which was disappointing, and in general the cleanliness could be improved. Communication with Vacasa was a bit challenging, but to their credit, they provided us with completely new bed linens on the same day. Some areas could benefit from updated furniture or small renovations, but overall everything we needed was available. All in all, we were moderately satisfied with our stay.

Honestly the apartment was perfect! Besides the outer exterior being a little deceiving as it is old and weathered. Also there was a bit of confusion on the site as they say there are no rooms with an ocean view even though the picture contradict that. I'm thinking now it might have been a different property they were describing maybe. Either way we were ecstatic to open the door and discover It was exactly as the pictures shown inside. The views from the patio and master bedroom were amazing and definitely the selling point of the apartment which was lovely and very homey inside. The other selling point is that it is only 50 feet from the beach!! We both admitted how easy it would be to live here permanently..lol. Even though most of our stay it was cold and sometimes rainy, it didn't matter because being in there we just sat on the patio and enjoyed our time listening and watching the waves crash onto the shore or laid in bed and took in the amazing oceanfront view. Never even turned on the TV..lol When we did go out it was easy to walk anywhere and I just left my car in the designated parking (free by the way) spot assigned to the our unit. My girlfriend and I were sad and didn't want to leave yesterday.. lol Ultimately, comparing Shoreline Hideaway to just a beachfront hotel room on the boardwalk, you definitely are getting more bang for your buck!! We plan to call this our permanent staycation spot for the foreseeable future. Thank you!
