This is our 4th visit to Mission Beach (couple with two teenage boys) and by far the best unit we've rented with the best location. Views from living room and master are simply stunning. Unit has been updated with tasteful beachy decor and appreciated no carpet. Beds comfy. Enjoyed the neighborhood and tried both coffee places, Mexican taco stands and pizza. Market with deli and liquor store also a stones throw away. Beach was definitely the best in Mission Bay, with short walk across the street to the Pacific side. We enjoyed being close to the park as well. Though considered the quiet part of Mission Bay which is mostly true, the unit is directly under the flight path and the planes start taking off early in the morning. During the day you get used to it but if sleeping in past 6:30am in important to you, it never happened with us! Aside from that we loved every minute of our stay and will definitely look to rent this unit again!
We had a very nice stay with a beautiful view. Parking was convenient and plenty of restaurants nearby.
Enjoyable stay. Very walkable to the Roller Coaster and the jetty.
Great view and great time with the family.
The location is great.
We booked Bayside Retreat for our 5-day trip with 3 adults ans 6 kids. The proximity to the beach and Belmont Park was great--lots of activities without having to travel far. There is also ample parking in the nearby amusement park, or along the street if available. Neighbors are very nice, and the neighborhood is quiet. All the essentials are provided for in the home. Our whole family enjoyed the place, and would definitely book it again on a future trip.
