We were very happy with our stay in St. Augustine at Royal residence. The home was centrally located near shopping, beaches, historic old town and lots of restaurants. It’s a family friendly walkable neighborhood that is very safe. Vacasa responded right away if we needed anything or had questions. We would highly recommend staying here. A great place to vacation. We spent two months here and wished we could have stayed another month! Very comfortable roomy home with a fenced in backyard and dog friendly. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms plenty of space. The biggest improvement to your rental would be to have a heart. We evacuated our home in Seminole Fl. and rented this home to be safe. Your message to us was that this home in St Augustine WAS NOT in a mandatory evacuation zone; so we rented it. No one offered travel insurance because there was a named storm headed for Florida. 12 hours after arrival I was informed to evacuate the property per the Owner of the home and The City of Saint Augustine. I understand conditions of the storm can change, but your policy and lack of compassion and concern did not. You guys would not refund or prorate my lack of a stay. I returned home to a ruined home less 800.00 plus dollars for a stay I didn't stay in. You told me to evacuate. I did not change anything or fail to arrive. Your strict policy adherence is further setting my family back in a crisis beyond our control. I will never utilize or recommend your services to anyone. I plan on promoting this experience on every social media platform I can to make people aware of the pitfalls of your policy and lack of compassion for people directly impacted by Hurricane Milton.

Our family went down to St. Augustine to see the fireworks at the Fort, the stay was around 10-15 minutes from the venue and wonderful. We had a wonderful experience here, would definitely revisit.
