Great place. Cute. Spacey. Great location!
We loved this little historic home! It was very well stocked, very clean, and convenient to everything! Will definitely recommend to anyone wanting to visit St. Augustine!
Walkable to most attractions.
The convenience of how close it was to everything
Spent two weeks at the Emerald Estate. The house is in a great location for seeing all of the historic area. Very walkable to all of the historic center of St Augustine, only blocks from the Spanish fort. Numerous shops, restaurants coffee houses nearby. Our go to in the mornings was Spinster Abbott’s, a funky bodega right around the corner which also has a food truck (really an Airstream) called the Hot Box. In the 2 weeks in St Augustine the Hot Box had the best food of any place in town! Truly incredible (ate there 3 times we liked it so much). The house was great, bed is super comfy. Brought our pup with us and the fenced backyard was a definite plus. The neighborhood was awesome for morning and evening walks and the architecture and plants are really interesting. A word of caution on parking. We received not one but 2 parking tickets; 2 days in a row for improper parking (parked in the wrong direction). Didn’t see the first ticket because we walked everywhere, then noticed 2 tickets on the windshield. I called about it because as a side street there really is no traffic and the lady I spoke with said they don’t patrol there but someone called to complain! So make sure you do park in the direction of traffic. (We know who called and 1 of the tickets was dismissed). Other than that it was a wonderful experience and highly recommend staying there and you have to eat at the Hot Box!
This house was very quiet and quaint. The area is peaceful and friendly. I found it to be very clean with new appliances. One bathroom is small, but the other has a huge tub. the loft is very cute. We drove a full size truck with a super crew cab and it fit perfectly in front of the house. The location is easy to find and close to everything.
