This house is perfect for a small family or vacation rental with a friend. Dog friendly is a huge bonus! Everything worked well. Had a wonderful vacation, close to beach access.
The location is great, but the house was dirty and not well maintained. The plaster and paint are peeling off of the wall. There was a hole in the bedroom door in the shape of a fist. The kitchen floor was sticky, to the point where we were wearing shoes inside of the house because the bottoms of our feet were turning black. Also, please be aware that this is a downstairs unit and the ceilings are very thin, so you can hear every single footstep and conversation in the upstairs unit. We couldn't get any sleep because their kids stayed up until 2am every night, running around. I would skip this one and keep browsing.
Location to Beach, to Surf Bar and Restaurant, back yard for our dog. This house has potential, if some money is invested. Vacasa management, Michael was excellent to work with.
It was close to easy beach access. Restaurant in walking distance. Pet friendly is a plus too!
We stayed in the bottom unit which has direct access to the fenced backyard. That was convenient since we had our dog with us. The unit was not cleaned adequately when we arrived. The carpet in the main bedroom smelled like urine. I contacted management and they sent someone out to clean the carpets the next day. The light fixture in the back yard was not working when we arrived, several bulbs were out in the house and a switch was missing from a bedside lamp in the bedroom. Management sent someone out to correct those issues the third day of our stay. I requested a mop because the tile floors were very dirty and was told one would be provided but one never was. The air conditioning unit made an extremely loud knocking noise when we first got there but that was also fixed on the third day and the ac worked fine the rest of our visit. Overall I would say the place is decent. Not fancy and could use some updates but not horrible. It would have been a better stay if adequate cleaning and maintenance had been done before our arrival. Staff was prompt to respond about concerns though and always very courteous.
Being able to walk across the street and have the ocean, made it very easy to accommodate
