This was a very nice condo that had one of the best stocked kitchens we've stayed in except no keurig (we went out and bought a small one which will be great for our future trips) and serving spoons. The furniture was very comfortable. TV was a little tricky to figure out but we eventually got it. Great mattresses. The area the condo is in is quite pretty. Loved the canopy oaks. Even though parking was right in front unloading the car was a bit difficult as we were staying for a month and had quite a bit of stuff with us. Same for grocery shopping - steps for a distance before getting to the elevator- no carts available. The biggest issue for this condo was the primary bedroom bathroom. The dressing area was great but the separate shower and toilet area was less than good. Absolutely NO room. You basically had to sit on the toilet to close the door to take a shower. If you're a large individual, you'd have to use the front lobby shower. The Casago Staff were wonderful as was Jessica the security person at the from gate. We would have rated 4.5 if able.
We loved the location as it was in a walking distance to the beach, surrounded by scenic views of a golf resort. The pool downstairs was well shaded by trees and felt like almost private. The condo had been recently remodeled, boasting leather furniture in the living room and new appliances in the kitchen. It was clean and well-kept, but a big drawback that spoiled the whole impression was the strong, persistent mildew smell in the master bedroom and adjacent bathroom. I am sure we could've received some concessions from Vacasa had we raised the issue, but we didn't want the hassle - our stay was too short. The smell was reminiscent of damp, moldy drywall. Hopefully, the source of it could be located and resolved. The condo is located on the third floor, for those who wonder. There's an elevator, but to get to it from the parking lot one has to a climb a few stair steps.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The unit is cozy, clean, and has nice updates. Comfy beds and quiet atmosphere. My husband and I are young and have an almost 1 year old and the condo had everything we needed. The pool was beautiful (and basically private - no one was ever using it) and the beach access was an easy walk! The beach also felt so private because it was empty most of the time! In June! The grounds of the Omni are really pretty and walkable. The only negatives - the sliding door to the balcony is a hazard and needs fixed. I’m not sure if the listing to this unit has any info on accessibility but this building is not accessible. There is an elevator to the 3rd floor but quite a few steps up to the building and tons of steps down to the pool. It wasn’t an issue for us other than not being able to use our stroller as much as we normally would, but for an older person or a disabled person I can see how it would be very challenging.
This place is VERY nice and clean. The service was the best and I would definitely recommend and be visiting again!!
Beautiful place. Perfect vacation. We will return. Vacasa staff very responsive.
I took my sister and a friend for a getaway to relax. The unit we stayed in was amazing. The walk to the beach wasn't far and the beach was beautiful. We were close to dining and grocery stores to shop for essentials. Very quiet especially in the evenings, The view from our room with the trees and spanish moss was beautiful and reaxing. Will definitely stay at this property in the future.
