Turtle Dunes is located inside The Omni Resort at Amelia Island with 24-hour security in a private gated community.

Things to Know Be sure to check out the newly added Pickleball Court! There is some repair work being done on the pool bathrooms, expected completion date of March 5th. Please be advised that the restroom facilities will be temporarily unavailable for the duration of the project. However, the pool will remain open. Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. Trailers and motorcycles are prohibited in this community

Really nothing bad to report. We lovers the room and stay like always. We usually stay at the Sandcastles villa but this was just as good if not better with having two bedrooms and washer and dryer in the condo. Highly recommended. This is our 10th year vacationing on the island !

Dated, but Location, location, location. You will not find a better view. 5th floor on the beach with a full view to the north, it is an ideal location. Turtle Dunes also has one the best and least used pools on the whole AIP. Further, the VACASA staff could not have been more accommodating. Very clean and great communication. The Plantation is magical - been coming there for over 40yrs - eek, so if you're here for the beach, the seclusion, the golf, Fernandina, etc... who cares too much about the unit. It's fit, functional and everything works, but nothing past that as its long overdue for a refresh.
