Alot of things need care

Proximity to the ocean, ease of entering and leaving the property as well as staff who were very accommodating!

We chose this unit because it had good reviews, however on arrival we noted multiple factors that made us feel that the unit was not properly cleaned and ultimately led to us leaving a night early. On arrival there was a dead roach and some small nat-like bugs on the floor (obviously nothing had been swept/mopped). There was old Mac & Cheese left on one of the nighstands, multiple table tops were sticky and had not been cleaned, spider webs and dirt all over patio table and chairs, roach bait/traps under bathroom sinks right up against what were supposedly clean bathroom towels, and my least favorite - something on the sheets in the master bedroom (was not a stain - I unfortunately FELT IT). I texted the rental company - they offered to come spray for the roaches but I didn’t want that around my 2 year old. They offered to come clean but we had already cleaned to our standards and didn’t want them in the unit while our daughter needed to nap. No offer was ever made for any partial refund, any waiver of the cleaning fee - nothing. The carpet in the bedrooms was very old and very stained in multiple locations. All of this combined made me feel uncomfortable staying longer than I absolutely had to so as soon as my mandatory meetings were over for work we left. I let the rental company know before 10am on Saturday even though we weren’t supposed to check out until SUNDAY at 10am in hopes that they could turn the unit over and give me a refund for the 1 night since we wouldn’t even be there and no attempts to make any good gestures on their part were made. We were more than disappointed in what was supposed to be a nice work/beach get away. Would not recommend. For the price of this unit
