The stay was amazing an I will definitely be back!
I was a bit apprehensive about booking this stay after reading the other reviews. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. This was a great location for our family. The beach was a short walk away through the parking lot and over a walkway. The pool was shaded and great in the evenings after a hot day at the beach. The furniture was dated as mentioned in other reviews, however I would take this cheaper option over paying an extra $500 a night for a newly renovated apartment.
Pretty clean. Needs some updates. And WiFi was not working.
The condo is overpriced… beds were uncomfortable, TVs did not work, outdated. Will not return to this condo. Spiders were also an issue downstairs.
Loved the property, pool was nice except the kids throwing balls across the pool at each other, running and jumping into the pool onto their surf boards and splashing, their parents watching and saying nothing!! The apartment was nice and just right for our eight ladies on our girls trip. The furniture and appliances are really old. The couch was very dirty and worn out. The beds really need new mattresses. It was clean though. I would stay again but really hope the owners update this place soon!!
salemaker 504 at Summer Beach was the worst I have ever stayed in. I stayed in the same resort for about 25 years, in quite a few different units, but I’ve never seen one like this. It should not be allowed to be listed on Vacasa. As we entered , we saw the floorboard had rotted along the bottom and on on the other side it was a green, moldy, looking color. Upon opening the fridge, it was rusted on the inside. The ceiling was peeling from what looked like water damage. The shower was about the size of a vertical coffin in one bedroom. The walls have not been painted in no telling how long and the kitchen floor just looked dirty. The TVs were small. The fireplace screens were totally rust. We could not find another three bedroom but did rent a two bedroom available so some of my family had to stay behind and tough it out in that unit. The agency we went through was able to negotiate with Vacasa for only a 20-25% discount on our three night stay. When we checked in and reported what we had, I will say the outreach from the service person was very good and very nice. It’s just that we got no final response or offer of any fix. It was not elevated to the proper urgent level.
