Cottage del Mar

This was our third time at Cottage Del Mar & just like the other two stays it delivered a refreshing stay. We come down & work part of the time. The internet has always been reliable, although we bring a hotspot just in case. We love that there's a large dining table and a nice big desk so we both have workspaces. Love the new front door! That's one thing we've noticed; the owners replace things as needed or make updates as needed. We appreciate that they clearly care & want guests to have what they need and things they didn't know they needed, like starter spices, oils, coffee pods, bug spray, etc. The house is so comfortable, more so than our real home. We love getting away on off seasons. We feel like we own the beach & our pups love coming along. Easy-peasy days. You'll love it here!

Beautiful house right on the beach! The deck is amazing! Coffee in the morning and wine in the evening! Steps to walk along the beach! Listen to waves at night. Heaven.

Cottage Del Mar has all the comforts of home & the perfect beachfront location. We stay here again & again. They replaced the front door, it was a slider before. So much easier; that slider was a real pain sometimes. The owners really take pride in their home, taking great care to keep things replaced when needed. This is the one to book! We love weekday stays during off season, it's very quiet here & you feel like you have the beach to yourself.

We stayed at Cottage Del Mar for a couple of days & hated to leave. The home is really lovely & oh so comfortable. It's easy to feel like you found your sweet spot here. The house is beachfront, so the views are incredible & during the week you felt like you had the beach to yourself. We so enjoyed this location, walks on the beach & hanging out on the deck. The sliding glass door was a bear; it's clear that the impact of salt air has rusted the wheels so it no longer slides easily. The good news is they're replacing the door as soon as the new door comes in. (The owners had a note in their guest book about it.) That was our only issue, but it didn't take away from our love for this place. We get it, things like doors take time to order & get installed. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a couple meals. We went out one night to Tia Juanita's…so good & great service! We'll be back!
