The Woodside Cottage #2505

The Woodside Cottage at Shay Meadows | Two-Suite Ranch Cottage with Fireplace in Big Bear

Escape to The Woodside Cottage, a cozy two-bedroom, two-bathroom retreat on the sprawling Shay Meadows Ranch in Big Bear. This 1,200-square-foot cottage sleeps up to eight guests and blends modern comfort with rustic country charm, surrounded by mountain scenery. It's just ten minutes from downtown Big Bear, the ski resorts, the marinas, grocery stores, and the shops of The Village.

Start each morning with a cup of coffee and the quiet of the ranch, taking in the fresh mountain air and wide-open views. In the evening, gather around the fire in the cozy living room and put on a movie on the flat-screen streaming TV. Inside, fresh furnishings and an inviting atmosphere make it easy to settle in, and the fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for home-cooked meals together. The layout is ideal for two couples or families traveling together, with two private suites. The first bedroom features two queen beds and a private full bathroom with laundry, and the second bedroom offers a queen bed and its own private full bathroom. A queen sleeper sofa in the living room provides extra sleeping space for the group.

Shay Meadows Ranch offers a peaceful, unique country setting that still keeps Big Bear's year-round attractions within easy reach. In winter, head to the slopes for skiing and snowboarding. In summer, spend the day at Big Bear Lake, explore the hiking and biking trails, or browse the shops and restaurants of The Village. Driveway parking for two cars makes arriving easy.
