About

When your North Georgia trip calls for fresh, fast, and unmistakably Italian, Bites by Ferraro delivers. Sitting on Main Street in downtown Blue Ridge, the eatery is the ideal spot after a day of sightseeing.

Our story starts with one chef and a simple goal. Chef Igor Ferraro wanted to bring the Italian foods he grew up with in Venice to Blue Ridge, Georgia. The result is a restaurant built on the idea of fine Italian street food, served with care and made from quality ingredients.

Bites by Ferraro is the younger sister of Ferraro's Kitchen, and while Ferraro's Kitchen offers a full sit-down experience, Bites focuses on the casual, street food of Italian cooking. Think handheld classics, crisp fried bites, and Italian classics like lasagna.

The menu at Bites reflects a deep respect for tradition. Gourmet sandwiches anchor the lineup, built with locally sourced, all-natural ingredients and premium meats and cheeses.

The eatery also offers breakfast, making it the ideal spot for a latte, juice, and Italian flatbread before boarding the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway.

Bites by Ferraro lets you savor authentic Italian street food, showcasing fresh, plentiful ingredients. For anyone exploring Blue Ridge, it offers a true taste of Italy in the heart of the mountains.

Vibe

An interesting fact is that Bites by Ferraro shares a building with Ferraro’s Kitchen. Both are on the 2nd floor of a modest strip mall, and each has its own entrance.

The Main Street setting puts it in the middle of the shops, walkable sidewalks, and the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. Such convenience makes it easy to combine a wholesome meal at Bites with a jam-packed itinerary.

The interior features wood tones, soft lighting, and tidy table settings, creating a relaxed, contemporary space.

The dining options give guests room to choose their experience. The main area will suit families or those on a date, while bar seating offers a front-row spot to watch the bartenders mix cocktails. Al fresco dining on the patio lets visitors enjoy the cool mountain air and people-watch along Main Street.

The overall atmosphere makes Bites by Ferraro a smart stop during a North Georgia vacation. It’s the perfect spot for a healthy, quick meal before dashing off to explore more.

Bites by Ferraro: Menu & Drinks

The cuisine is labeled as “Italian street food,” which, in many ways, could also be considered deli-style fare.

A prime example is the gourmet sandwiches, built from premium meats, fresh mozzarella, and locally sourced ingredients. These handhelds are massive, proving that a sandwich can satisfy an appetite after hiking the Aska Adventure Area.

The Meatball Panini combines comfort with Italian finesse. The housemade meatballs come in a tomato sauce with melted Parmesan and mozzarella. Wrap this savory, gooey deliciousness in the ciabatta bread, and you have a winner!

When craving a lighter meal, check out the salads, such as Caesar, Farmer, Caprese, and House. Showcasing fresh vegetables and housemade dressings, these salads are your passport to Italy.

If you’re feeling adventurous, try the zucchini flowers that offer a delicate, crisp option that reflects the kitchen's lighter frying techniques. On the other hand, if you crave an Italian classic, the Lasagna Bolognese will delight with its layers of pasta, cheeses, and meat sauce.

Another favorite with diners is the various Pinsa Romana (Roman Focaccia). A popular choice is the Tivoli featuring speck (smoked ham), mushrooms, and Gorgonzola and Mozzarella cheese.

The drink menu, especially cocktails, fuses Italian flavors with classics. A fine example is the Mahdovai, showcasing dark rum, amaretto, triple sec, pineapple, and lime juice, with a Maraschino cherry.

The beer list and wine-by-the-glass options ensure there’s a drink for every palate and pairing.

Bites by Ferraro delivers a meal worth planning your North Georgia vacation around, sourcing fresh ingredients, skilled kitchen, and well-made drinks.
