About

Little did Ryan Snyder know that working at Holy Cow Brewery in Las Vegas would plant an entrepreneurial seed. It sprouted into the Public Coast Brewing Co! But this happened after moving to Cannon Beach, marrying Stephanie, and having kids.

Inspired by the 1967 Oregon Beach Bill, which declared all of the state's beaches public land, Public Coast Brewing Co celebrates this democratic spirit by welcoming everyone.

The brewery taps into the Pacific Northwest's rich agricultural heritage, sourcing its ingredients from the bountiful surroundings.

Ryan and Stephanie pursued another dream and created Public Coast Farm, offering fresh blueberries, honey, apples, peaches, and plum trees. While visitors can purchase these at the farm, they are incorporated into the various brews at Public Coast Brewing Co.

Visit Public Coast Brewing Co on your Oregon getaway for authentic Pacific Northwest beers and fare.

Vibe

The vibe captures the essence of Oregon's coast: laid-back, friendly, and genuine. The rustic charm of reclaimed wood and nautical accents beckons patrons inside.

The space blends industrial chic with coastal comfort, using exposed beams, warm lighting, panoramic windows, and plenty of outdoor seating.

Communal tables and cozy nooks offer the perfect setting for gathering with friends or making new ones. It's the ideal spot to recap a day at the Cannon Beach History Center & Museum over tasty fare and refreshing brews.

The taproom serves as the heart of the establishment, where the passion for beer brewing is palpable, and the staff's enthusiasm is infectious. Their knowledge and love for beer shine through in every conversation, making each visit educational and enjoyable.

The ambiance marries the rugged beauty of Cannon Beach with the warmth of a local pub. Here, the pace slows, smiles are plentiful, and visitors celebrate the simple pleasure of a well-brewed beer.

Public Coast Brewing Co: Menu & Drinks

The menu at Public Coast Brewing Co celebrates local produce to create offerings that pair with what's on tap. Visitors rave about the unique blend of traditional pub fare and innovative dishes, ideally suited after exploring the artisan shops on Hemlock Street, like Icefire Glassworks.

Launch your dining experience at Public Coast Brewing Co with the Brewer's Plate, which can also serve as a meal! The starter features salami, house-smoked brats (served cold), two cheeses, Mama Lil's Sweet Hot Pickled Peppers, house-made '67 Blonde Ale beer mustard, Public Coast Farm blueberry chutney with warm bread. Pair it with the Coconut Brown Ale, and your taste buds will dance with joy!

When sipping the '67 Blonde Lager or Coastal Haze Hazy IPA, consider pairing it with The Burger. This juicy handheld uses grass-fed Oregon beef and comes on a brioche bun with homemade mayo and a sweet and savory bacon jam spread. Add cheddar cheese, sweet onion, lettuce, tomato, and fries, and you're in for a hearty, savory meal.

A must-try seasonal option is the Fish Tacos. This dish uses fresh-caught fish that is battered and lightly fried to a golden brown. The fish is folded in three corn tortillas with fresh salsa, jalapeño lime-cilantro slaw, and spicy chipotle crema.

However, the main attraction is the beer. You'll discover Gold-Medal-winning craft beers with unique flavors that may enlighten your Cannon Beach vacation. The Coconut Brown has tropical notes of chocolate and coconut, with a smooth finish that pairs with many menu items.

Kids will want to sample non-alcoholic house-made craft beverages like blueberry and cream sodas.
