With various restaurants, rides, attractions, shops, hotels, and other events on the Boardwalk and Promenade, there will surely be something for you and your family.

Situated along a mile of the Atlantic oceanfront, the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk & Promenade is the perfect break from your watery festivities. With over a dozen different activities, you might be surprised to find yourself spending more time at the boardwalk than the ocean!

What if you get to the beach and realize you left your cooler at the rental home or want something more than a soggy, cold sandwich for lunch? Perhaps you lost track of time, and there's nothing in the fridge for dinner?

Whichever scenario describes you, there are twenty different restaurants serving everything from ice cream to burgers to pizza to mixed drinks.

And suppose you find yourself in need of some emergency beach supplies or souvenirs for the road. In that case, check out the unique shops at the Boardwalk & Promenade for you to shop to your heart's content.

Try the Land Shark Surf Shack or the Gay Dolphin Gift Cove for extraordinary gifts that'll be sure to make anyone jealous of the time you spent on the beach!

Fun Facts and Cool Features

In 2011, Myrtle Beach Boardwalk & Promenade became the first place in the United States to open an observation wheel, and guests have enjoyed the view ever since.

The observation wheel stands over 200 feet high, giving riders beautiful, unobstructed views of the boardwalk, promenade, and ocean. Take a ride at sunset to catch the oil-painting-like beauty of Myrtle Beach.

While it is one of the newer attractions to the boardwalk and promenade, there are still plenty of the classics!

Opened up in 1937, Peaches Corner has been a mainstay for beachgoers for nearly a century. While much of it has changed, Peaches Corner's dedication to delivering delicious food to vacationers and sun lovers remains the same as it did back then. Head to Peaches Corner to grab a taste of Myrtle Beach history!

Different festivals and attractions are also happening at the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk & Promenade throughout the year! During the summer, the boardwalk runs "Hot Summer Nights," featuring live music, entertainment, and even fireworks shows!

When the weather cools, the cooking pots heat up, and the Boardwalk hosts the fall Seafood Festival!
