Description
In a wonderful island on the Pacific, secluded from all that are not guests, and accessible only by boat and through the dock, sand, and stone-colored towers rise from the emerald greens of the golf-course grass and highlight the palm trees swaying in the wind.
In the third floor of this magnificent place, heaven opens a portal to a world of luxury and design the likes of which cannot be matched anywhere else. A thin corridor leads the way inside the stone-floored home. A pathway to the right leads into the guest bedroom, while the straight hallway takes you to the kitchen, the diner, living room, and the world from the open deck sliding doors.
Our journey begins in the long, slim corridor lined by soft walls and paved with marble stone. The light reflects in a subtle pink tone on the walls and dashes through the floor in yellow shadows. The sun and the moon blend in romantic embrace surrounding a mirror glass. And through the very first corner to the right, the kitchen opens to reveal its wonders.
Polished granite shines and mimics the ceiling above in its mirror-like surface, as its golden tones are shattered by the shine of the chromed appliances that bathe in the warmth of the Los Cabos’ Sun. Wonderful cabinets in deep dark woods support the weight of the stone and float above the kitchen, carefully encasing the room. Three barstools join in the breakfast bar, with their chocolate woods and seats contrasting on the stone and blending in the woods beneath.
In front lay the diner and living room, sharing space as they face the sliding glass doors and the paradise that waits outside. The L shaped couch in gray suede faces a dark entertainment center in dark woods, as well as a coffee table in a minimalistic array. A thick wicker couch sits in the corner, while the entertainment center supports the weight of the TV set and many other appliances. A circular watch and paintings adorn the wall. The six-seat diner, made from deep colored woods and leather seats, peacefully waits underneath a brilliant chandelier. All the while, a mirror in exquisite Mexican frame hangs in the wall.
The master bedroom seems to evoke the tranquil waters of a turquoise lake. Its soft blue walls enlarge and magnify the King-sized bed, with its warm sand and brown tones. The headrest seems to pop out of the wall, as do the nightstands on either side of the bed while holding wonderful lamps that seem to be made from desert sand compacted and shaped. Scattered fitments in the room add a sense of fantastical dreams to the room, all-the-more like a fairy tale come true. Inside the Master Bath, a tub fits snuggly in a crevice in the wall. Wonderful paintings and lamps brighten the soft colored cave and create a magnificent place against the stoned tub-top. A large shower is covered in marble tiles, and a double sink faces a large mirror on the wall.
The Second Master, colored in beautiful lime green, offers a spectacular view. The green color bounces of the white bed and seems absorbed by the dark color of the headrest behind the bed. The nightstands on each side of the bed make it feel snuggly tugged in as if it were a nest. Long windows guarded by soft fabric drapes and a unique view of the world finish touching up the room. The subtle closet is hidden behind white sliding doors, as the double sink in the bathroom reflects the surface of the shower.
In the guest bedroom, peach-colored walls shine against the white canvas of the twin bed linens. The dark, chocolate wood of the headrests seems to be a void in which light finds an exit route. Turtles swim in the wall, reflecting in the mirror above the vanity drawer set. The bathroom lies next to the closet, where a single sink in marble stone waits above wooden cabinets.
All that is left is the terrace, and what an ending it is! A six-piece dinner waits beneath the roofed deck, overlooking thousands of palm trees and emerald grass blades, slowly swaying in the salty wind. Turquoise blues mix from above and below, as another island peeks from the horizon. The private dock and the golf course can only enhance the beauty of this already perfect place.
