This is a reminder of the era when Galveston was one of the wealthiest cities in Texas, and before becoming the Playground of the South was once known as the Wall Street of the South.

The winter event brings parades and music to the streets, while Dickens on The Strand transforms downtown into a Victorian holiday festival.
