Key West, Florida, an island in Monroe County, draws millions of visitors each year. February and March appear to be two of the busiest months, with hotel occupancy at 90-percent and higher. Key West is located at the southernmost tip of Florida with easy accessibility to/from the mainland via the Overseas Highway.

In addition to being a popular cruise ship port, Key West has year-round activities and is known as a premier spot for diving and snorkeling because of its gorgeous coral reefs. Visitors can enjoy dolphin encounters, kayaking, boat tours, and historic sites like Fort Jefferson. Plan to spend time on Duval Street for shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. The 1.25-mile street stretches between the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean.

Located about five hours from Los Angeles, the city of Las Vegas, Nevada has become a tourism hotspot, welcoming about 32 million visitors annually. It’s more than a gambling mecca. Vegas has transformed itself into a vacation destination for all ages.

Plan a visit to Las Vegas to not only explore the iconic Strip, but to see big-name entertainment, sporting events, festivals, concerts, and Broadway-style shows. Book a tee time at one of the area’s premier golf courses, like Chimera or TPC. Spend the afternoon at the Adventuredome indoor theme park. Go hiking or biking and then relax at one of the day spas. The Myrtle Beach area includes a total of 14 communities along what is known as The Grand Strand, a stretch of 60 miles of beaches that runs from Little River to Pawleys Island. The city of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is at the heart of The Grand Strand, a long-standing vacation destination for people from across the United States and Canada.

Myrtle Beach has more than 100 golf courses, 1,800 full-service restaurants, and more than 400 hotels. It’s home to several sprawling resorts, like the Dunes Golf and Beach Club, plus elegant cottages, bed-and-breakfasts, and mid-rise condos available as vacation rentals. Many beach condos are within walking distance of the Boardwalk, the SkyWheel, and the Family Kingdom Amusement Park.

While we currently don’t manage any rental properties in Myrtle Beach, it’s a vacation destination you don’t want to skip over.

Palm Springs, California sits south of the San Bernardino National Forest, a Sonoran Desert city filled with stylish resorts, premier golf courses, hot springs, and fabulous shopping and dining options. Scottsdale sits adjacent to Phoenix, the capital city of Arizona. Visitors to the area often come for the premier golf resorts, but there are more than pristine fairways in this valley. Attractions and activities include everything from indoor skydiving to hot air balloon rides and visits to the OdySea Aquarium, Arizona Science Center, and Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Waterpark.

Locals and visitors love to indulge in shopping downtown and in Old Town for unique boutiques and galleries. Visitors have year-round activities to enjoy, from hiking to skiing, whitewater rafting, snow tubing, and a range of water sports. There are multiple festivals, like the Jim Thorpe Independent Film Festival. Further, guests have easy access to local restaurants, shops, and adventure parks for all ages. Several resorts call the Poconos home, a vacation destination with guests that return year after year. While we currently don’t represent any properties in the Poconos, it’s a market to consider with an annual tourist draw of about 28 million each year.

 

Snowshoe, West Virginia

Located in Pocahontas County, Snowshoe is a West Virginia ski resort town located less than 70 miles from Lewisburg. It’s a year-round vacation spot with property rentals managed by Casago. When looking for a hot vacation rental property, Snowshoe has several, from condos at the ski-in/ski-out Soaring Eagle Resort to condos at Mountain Lodge and Silver Creek with its 15 ski trails.

While skiing, snowboarding, and snow-tubing are prime winter activities in this resort community, the summer fun list is equally long. Guests can play a round at the Raven Golf Club, bike the Greenbriar River Trail, and relax at the Spa at Snowshoe. It’s a promising location for investment properties.

 

St. Augustine, Florida

Historic St. Augustine, Florida is considered the oldest city in the United States. It hosts six million visitors each year and is home to beautiful beaches, golf courses, great places to eat, and must-see historic sites like the Castillo de San Marcos fort, a National Monument.

Whitefish, Montana

Montana tourism numbers continue to climb as more people discover the beauty and amenities the state has to offer. In northwest Montana, the town of Whitefish sits at the base of Big Mountain. This mountain town is home to the Whitefish Mountain Resort, a year-round destination for guests looking to get away from the hustle and hassle of life. Guests come to ski, snowboard, hike, mountain bike, and more.

Whitefish Lake offers scenic shores for picnics and boat launches for water fun, while Downtown Whitefish teems with shops, restaurants, breweries, coffeehouses, and nightlife.
