About

Calling all wine enthusiasts visiting the Portland area! The Willamette Valley Tour is an absolute must-add to your itinerary.

This region is renowned worldwide for producing some of the finest Pinot Noir wines. Stretching from the outskirts of Portland down to Eugene, this beautiful valley is dotted with picturesque vineyards and wineries. Get ready to sip, swirl, and savor your way through a wine-tasting adventure like no other.

The history of winemaking in the Willamette Valley dates back to the 1960s when a handful of pioneering vintners saw the potential in its fertile soils and ideal climate for producing world-class Pinot Noir.

Today, the region boasts over 500 wineries and is celebrated for its commitment to sustainable and organic viticulture. This tour isn't just about wine; it's a journey through a history of winemaking in the Pacific Northwest.

Fun Facts & Cool Features

Willamette Valley Tours offers three different tour choices. The most popular is the full-day wine-tasting tour, featuring stops at three wineries of your choice throughout the region and a lunch stop.

The waterfall and wine combo tour will have you visiting two vineyards and Oregon's most visited attraction: the Multnomah Falls, located in the Columbia Gorge scenic corridor.

Then, there's the Oregon coast tour and vineyard stop. After visiting a vineyard of your choice, the tour will head down to Cannon Beach to enjoy some of the best ocean vistas you'll ever see.

One of the most intriguing aspects of the Willamette Valley Tour is the diversity of wineries and tasting experiences you'll encounter. Each winery has its unique charm, from boutique family-run operations to grand estates with stunning views of the valley. Some wineries focus exclusively on Pinot Noir, while others experiment with various grape varietals, giving you a wide range of flavors to explore.

A highlight of the tour is the personal guide that will accompany you and the opportunity to meet the passionate winemakers and vineyard owners who pour their heart and soul into each bottle. They'll share their stories of winemaking techniques and offer insights into what makes Willamette Valley wines so unique.

Another exciting feature is the chance to explore the lush vineyards themselves. Stroll through the rows of grapevines, take in the breathtaking scenery, and learn about the intricacies of grape growing in this unique climate.
