About

If you're a fan of sandy beaches, ocean breezes, and picturesque sunsets (and who isn't?), grab your sunscreen and beach gear and get to Treasure Shores Park

Treasure Shores Park is located along the pristine coastline of Indian River County, Florida. This public park is popular with locals and visitors because of its stunning setting and various activities.

Before Treasure Shores Park was a beacon to sun worshippers, the area was just another stretch of shoreline on the Treasure Coast, a region that got its name from the Spanish treasure fleet that sank in a hurricane in 1715.

Over the years, local authorities developed this land into a beautiful public park while maintaining its natural beauty.

With its lush sea grape trees, rolling sand dunes, and well-maintained amenities, Treasure Shores Park is the idyllic retreat for those seeking a relaxed and fun-filled day at the beach.

Fun Facts & Cool Features

One great amenity at Treasure Shores Park is its wheelchair-accessible boardwalk, which allows everyone to enjoy the breathtaking ocean views regardless of their mobility.

Treasure Shores Park is a family-friendly destination with its children's playground area. Additionally, there are well-maintained restroom facilities and outdoor showers for rinsing off after a refreshing swim.

For those who love to cook outdoors, nine picnic pavilions with barbecue grills are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. And while you should pack in beverages and water, there are water fountains throughout the park.

If you're into water sports, the beach is excellent for swimming, fishing, surfing, scuba diving, and bodyboarding. Wildlife enthusiasts will also be delighted by the occasional sighting of sea turtles nesting on the beach or dolphins playing in the waves. But remember: sea turtles are protected by federal and state laws.

The park is a well-preserved piece of nature where visitors can enjoy the beach without the usual crowd and commercialization found at other Treasure Coast beaches.

With its beautiful beach, family-friendly amenities, and a calm, relaxed atmosphere, Treasure Shores Park is perfect for spending a day with family, friends or alone.

Whether you love basking in the sun, playing in the waves, or simply enjoying the scenery, Treasure Shores Park is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of the Treasure Coast.
