About

Year-round outdoor activities abound at Frisco Adventure Park! And the good news is that the majority are free!

Yes, you read that correctly, free! More on that later. First, let's get you some intel on this fantastic facility.

The Adventure Park is in the Peninsula Recreation Area and has miles of summer hiking and biking trails. When snow covers the mountains and valleys, the courses become Nordic trails that hug the shores of Frisco Bay and Dillon Reservoir.

Additionally, these paths wind in and out of the White River National Forest, a great place to picnic or reserve a campsite.

And with the mountains as your backdrop, Frisco Adventure Park is a magical and beautiful area.

When Frisco transitioned from a mining town to a recreational hub, the local government repurposed the area, recognizing its potential as a tourist attraction.

They planned to create a space catering to thrill-seekers and those seeking a peaceful retreat within nature's embrace. Thus, the Frisco Adventure Park was born, marrying the area's historical roots with the town's love for outdoor activities.

The park offers a diverse range of activities for every season. Summer adventures include a Bike Park, Skate Park, 27-hole disc golf, and hiking and biking trails.

During winter, the park becomes a snowy wonderland, offering tubing, skiing, Nordic skiing, and snowboarding.

There is also a Day Lodge on the premises with restrooms, water fountains, snacks, refreshments, Innova discs (for purchase), water bottles, maps, and Goodr Sunglasses.

Visiting Frisco Adventure Park is about immersing yourself in a Colorado community that values its past, cherishes the present, and looks forward to a future filled with exciting adventures.

Whether you are an adventure seeker or a history buff, Frisco Adventure Park promises to leave an indelible mark on your journey.

Fun Facts & Cool Features

Let's quickly look at the attractions awaiting you at Frisco Adventure Park.

Tubing and the ski/ride hill for beginners are among the few attractions requiring a fee. They have two tubing lanes and a surface lift to get you back to the top.

Reservations are required, and you'll need to sign a waiver. However, there is a hill available for sledding that is free.

Now, let's look at the free features!

The outdoor Skate Park has an above-ground skate line suitable for beginner, intermediate and advanced riders. The skate park is open from dawn until dusk, and protective gear is highly recommended.

The one-disk golf course features a premiere 27-hole course. Benches are available for relaxing, but restrooms are limited to the Day Lodge. Free maps and scorecards are also at the Day Lodge, and the course is open seven days a week from 6 AM to 10 PM.

The Bike Park is a fantastic facility for BMX and stunt bikes. Four tracks are available: a pump track, a slopestyle course, dirt jumps, and a dual slalom course. All are suitable for riders of all ages and abilities. The Bike Park is open from dawn to dusk, and restrooms and water fountains are at the Day Lodge.

In addition to the above, there are various hiking and mountain biking trails. Check online for more details and where to download maps.

Toss in the events they host, the opportunity to go on chuck wagon rides, sleigh rides, and park areas that can be rented, and it's no wonder that Frisco Adventure Park is so popular!
