About

Business partners Jaron Atwell and Ryan Landis were quite content with their pizza business in Summit Cove. But the pandemic changed that.

When The Pour House coffee shop became available, they jumped at the opportunity. Atwell and Landis branded the cafe with a new name, Cofa Coffee, and opened for business in October 2021.

Cofa Coffee struck a chord with visitors and locals due to its exceptional coffee and breakfast fare. Each cup of Joe at Cofa Coffee is a testament to the founder's unwavering commitment to their vision. They didn't want another cookie-cutter coffee shop. They wanted a cafe with grit, resilience, and a dash of mountain charm.

Cofa Coffee's dedication to Summit County's history, nature, and community makes it stand out. The cafe reflects this in everything it does, be it locally sourced pastries, the stunning mural of the Colorado Rockies, or its community events. Every detail is thoughtfully considered to highlight its ethos and the vibrant culture of its Colorado home.

As you sip your Cofa Coffee, you enjoy a quality brew while partaking in a slice of Summit County's history. In doing so, you become part of a community that values authenticity and the simple joy of a fresh cup of coffee.

Vibe

Cofa Coffee exudes a persona that can't be easily put into words. It's the place that instantly welcomes you, its aura seeping into your senses when you step foot on its premises.

The exterior of Cofa Coffee is a beautiful blend of Colorado charm and modern sophistication. The natural wood facade and welcoming windows offer a glimpse into the bustling life within.

The interior is a harmonious blend of old and new, with the aroma of freshly ground coffee filling the room.

The interior is open, well-lit, and welcoming. It's ideal for reading a book while savoring a latte or gathering with friends after a day on the slopes.

The blackboard menu adds to the cafe's simplicity, and the overhead wood beams reflect the abundant outdoor spirit in Colorado.

The atmosphere is vibrant yet relaxing. It's a hub of activity where baristas craft orders with dedication, and patrons engage in lively conversations or immerse themselves in work.

At the same time, the cozy nooks provide a quiet retreat for those seeking solitude on their Colorado getaway.

Cofa Coffee's vibe is a kaleidoscope of experiences, where superb coffee is served and stories are shared.

It’s a haven for coffee lovers, writers, artists, or anyone looking to escape the mundane and delve into a world of aromatic fascination.

Cofa Coffee: Menu & Drinks

At Cofa Coffee, visitors may choose from various beans to create a unique brew. They offer cold brew options, too.

A hot drink standout is the Matcha Latte, a balanced blend of rich, dark espresso, steamed milk, and matcha. This is the perfect drink for caffeine junkies!

Of course, they offer drip coffee, Americano, assorted lattes, and specialty drinks, but they also serve hot chocolate. Guests also rave about the silky-smooth texture of the French press coffee.

When you need a cold jolt of coffee, consider the Thai Frappe and Iced Coffee. And when caffeine isn't needed, try one of their delicious smoothies.

Cofa Coffee has a good selection of grab-and-go breakfast bites like muffins, lemon bars, and baklava. When you need more substance, try a bagel with egg, cheese, and your choice of meat or an English muffin with egg, cheese, and meat.

But the crowd-favorite is the Breakfast Burrito. This hearty meal consists of eggs, hash browns, cheese, veggies, and your choice of sausage, bacon, or impossible meat. Salsa and homemade sauces come on the side.
