Getting There

Located on the 2nd floor of Appalachia Kitchen, there are two ways you can enter. Either by going up the stairs at the back of the building - directly into Tuque's or you can enter through Appalachia Kitchen and go upstairs.

Tuque's, Appalachia Kitchen, and the Pizza Slice are in the same plaza next to the Powder Monkey Townhomes. All three restaurants are privately owned. Appalachia Kitchen and Tuque's share many parts of their menus, as they are under the same ownership. However, the atmosphere in these restaurants are quite different. Appalachia Kitchen offers a  more quiet, elegant setting while Tuque's has a more exciting, bar environment.

The Bar & Live Music

Every Thursday-Sunday, Tuque's has live music going from 5-7PM! Join locals and tourists alike in enjoying music while you dine and relax after a long day. They have a full bar here with plenty of bar seating. Even if it's so packed there aren't anymore seats, you'll still find people standing around the bar and having a good time!

What's on the menu at Tuque's?

On the menu, you will find a surprising variety of dishes. From tuna tartare and charcuterie style plates to steak. They pride themselves on a fresh, farm-to-table menu with lots of variety! Because there is a shared menu between Appalachia Kitchen and the Pizza Slice, you'll find a little bit of everything. Here's what we recommend trying:

Pan Seared U-10 Scallops

As part of the Entree menu, this dish is only available after 5 PM. This plate comes from the Appalachia Kitchen menu. The plate begins with quinoa risotto and spicy pepper relish. It also comes with lemon beurre blanc and micro cilantro for a tasty and aesthetic touch. Rainbow Trout

Bianca Pizza

More commonly known as a white or great white pizza, the Bianca has a base of various cheeses and roasted garlic sauce. This includes fresh mozzarella, ricotta, fontina, and parmigiano-reggiano. Lastly, it's drizzled with extra virgin olive oil. The mixture of cheeses and garlic sauce gives this pie a nice tang. Since pizzas come from the Pizza Slice restaurant downstairs, they are available daily from 11AM-9PM.

Chef's Cutting Board

The Chef's cutting board is one of the specialty appetizers at Tuque's. It comes with regional artisan meats and cheeses. The meats and cheeses can vary based on availability and season. However, they tend to offer basics like prosciutto. Traditional accompaniments are also plated such as olives, crackers, etc.
