About

Dive into a story where fine dining meets history at Norwood's Restaurant & Treehouse Bar. Established in 1946, this culinary landmark is a legacy in the heart of New Smyrna Beach, Florida.

It rose from a simple roots grocery store to a revered fresh seafood dining venue where every plate brims with the taste of tradition. Today, Don and Pamela Simmons are the owners and have breathed new life into the iconic eatery. In 2015, they opened the Treehouse Bar (yes, it's really in the trees!) and Roots Bar in 2019.

The contemporary menu draws inspiration from the tranquil waters nearby, featuring delectable seafood that pays homage to the coastal spirit. Norwood's constantly refreshes its offerings to give diners an experience that transcends the ordinary.

With a carefully curated wine selection, Norwood's boasts a notable wine shop where guests can take a piece of their experience home. Norwood's Restaurant & Treehouse Bar proudly stands as a culinary beacon, inviting NSB diners to savor fine cuisine in a unique atmosphere.

With live music and the ability to host special events, Norwood's Restaurant & Treehouse Bar is an NSB hotspot.

Vibe

Step into Norwood's Restaurant & Treehouse Bar, and immediately, the world outside fades into the background. The exterior whispers history with its classic Floridian architecture. It's less a building and more of a welcome mat to a cherished communal experience.

The warm interior is reminiscent of a sea captain's refuge and a stylish modern eatery. Carefully orchestrated lighting ensures that while the space feels intimate, it is vibrant and energetic. Walls adorned with tasteful nautical decorum and local art pieces provide a visual feast that complements the gastronomic voyage.

The crown jewel is the unique treehouse bar, a triumph of design offering guests an elevated dining experience. Perched amongst leafy branches, The Treehouse Bar entices diners to ascend into an immersive setting where a sip of wine pairs with sprawling views of majestic oaks and stars peeking through the foliage.

From the moment one steps through the doors, the bustle of everyday life is replaced by an immediate sense of belonging. Each corner, from the rustic touches to the soft hum of conversation, invites guests to linger in the magic that is much more than a meal—it's a memory in the making.
