Luxury Beachfront Duplex in Fort Morgan | Pool, Elevator and Wedding-Friendly

We rented this house for a vacation with four different families. We loved everything about this house. There is an elevator if needed. Every adult couple had their own room along with there being plenty of space for the kids. You walk directly onto the beach from the house which made things convenient. They had good quality pots and pans, along with any kitchen utensil, tool, or device you could need. There are two stackable washer and dryers which was helpful. The house was clean and all beds were taken care of properly and they were comfortable. The gathering areas were great for large groups of people as well. It was a duplex but you never would have known, everything is very spacious. The beach was quiet and clean. It is about a 25 minute drive into Gulf Shores or to a grocery store but there is a well stocked Dollar General that is closer. We would definitely book this house again. The company was easy to work with and provided a great experience.

This was perfect for our family. Plenty of space, pool was nice, and we all loved the balconies and easy access to the beach! Could use a couple cosmetic repairs and some dish towels. But we loved our stay!

We stayed in a Vacasa managed home with the extended family and was hoping to have a nice time. Upon our arrival (within 30 minutes of arrival) we noticed the Wine Cooler Mini Fridge, Ice Machine and top floor Bathroom Lock all did not work. We called at 4:39pm and spoke to a representative for 11 minutes whom assured we would be receiving a call as soon as possible regarding these issues..........that call never came. Then the next morning after breakfast (around 10am) we went to run the dishwasher to find that this also did not work. I then called again to speak with a representative (different one from the day prior) whom explained again that they would have somebody out soon to take a look at things. Being I've had to call a second time, I obviously was not very confident in Vacasa's follow through so I then started to figure out the dishwasher issue because that was the most pressing issue - and to avail, we were able to get the dishwasher running. Then a maintenance technician (which was the only positive thing about this experience) who's name was Troy was very helpful and accommodating as he tried to fix our next major issue of getting a bathroom pocket door to lock. After great effort, he successfully got that door to start locking which atleast gave us bathroom privacy. Troy unfortunately did tell us that he turned the water off to the Ice Machine a week prior because it wasn't working, and he was aware of the wine cooler being dead also, which he was under the impression those units were being replaced. I received a call back on this same day after Troys visit telling us a repair man would come the following day to look at the wine cooler and ice machine. The following day (which is our last day on the beach) a repair man shows up with no heads up so we had to scramble back from the beach to show him the issues (thanks for no heads up Vacasa on when he would be coming) which all he did was turn the water on for the ice machine and it started making ice. This was GREAT timing to finally have ice the last night we were there - especially being we called over 48 hours prior to this time - thanks again Vacasa. Unfortunately the repairman wasn't able to fix the wine cooler and said that would need to be replaced. As you can about imagine, we had ZERO confidence on the follow through from the beginning with Vacasa that we didn't even bother reaching out about the most uncomfortable pillows we collectively have ever used. The pillows were not just flatt-ish like hotel pillows, or older feeling - these are very hard and very round so much so that it gave 3 of us crick in our necks on night one and every single adult there slept with pillows off the couches for the rest of the trip. I've been vacationing for over 20 years on my dime, and this by far was the worst experience ever...........and the biggest joke was that they offered us to reimburse for ice we had to purchase, and gave us a $169 credit......wow THANKS VACASA!!! Vacation elsewhere!

The location was great but we found some appliances were not working. Also kitchen towels were provided. This would have been helpful to know beforehand.

Very clean and in great condition.

Thoroughly enjoyed the house. Comfortable, quiet, cool, great location, will definitely return. Loved availability of 6 parking places! Ice machine and Keurig-type coffee maker were nice surprises. Pool issue was resolved quickly. Convenient to leave chairs and tent on the beach. On the downside.... cleaning crew ran 30 minutes late so we had to wait around outside till they finished, dishes had residue on them, kitchen floor dirty as if not mopped, a fitted sheet was missing from the lower double bunk bed, only one kitchen towel, no pot holders or trivets. Would be nice to know ahead of time to bring extra kitchen towels, pot holders and blankets. Items needing attention: garbage disposal making noise, 4th fl balcony chair arm falls off.
