About

The Couxp is home to the best chicken sandwich in Humboldt County! Stop by the Couxp food truck and you will not regret it.

Where is the Couxp Food Truck Located:

Located in the parking lot of the Hatchet House Throwing Club in Arcata, they're pretty easy to find. There is a pretty good amount of parking spots in the lot. If the lot is full, no problem! There are also plenty of free parking spots along the streets in this area since it is close to the Arcata Plaza.

The food truck itself is a deep blue with striking orange, so there's no mistaking it. As for seating, they do have 4-5 benches out for you to enjoy your meal. Or, if you're getting your axe throwing on at the Hatchet House you're welcome to bring your food inside. Otherwise, everything is packed to go so taking it back to work or home is always an easy choice.

What's good at the Couxp?

Everything at the Couxp is downright tasty and high quality! However, we do have a few favorites we highly recommend. Of course, they are known for their famous wings and chicken sandwiches.

Though we categorize this food truck as American cuisine, they are always changing up their daily specials with dishes inspired by all sorts of cultures. For example, they have a Banh Mi sandwich on the menu, which is Vietnamese inspired. Further, they've had Greek, Mexican, Thai and Japanese inspired sandwiches too. They're always keeping the menu and customers on their toes!

Note: You can substitute any menu item with cauliflower!

Loaded Fries

The Buffalo Chicken Ranch Fries are a classic! They come smothered in buffalo sauce, bleu cheese, chives, ranch, and popcorn chicken. The portion is generous, but even then you'll be left wanting more. Alternatively, if you want a more tangy Asian-inspired take on fries, order the Korean Fries! They come with kimchi slaw, green onions, sesame seeds, and Gochujung sauce.

Chicken Wings

You can't go to a chicken spot like the Couxp and not try their wings! Order by 6 or 12. The flavor options include buffalo, lemon pepper parmesan, sticky Thai, spiced honey garlic, and reaper (extra hot). We recommend the lemon pepper parmesan - it's the perfect combination of flavors with a cheesy flair.

Chicken Sandwich

If it's your first time, we recommend going with the OG Couxp. This is their signature chicken sandwich - it comes with house made pickles, slaw, and couxp spread. All their sandwiches come on a fresh brioche bun and all their chicken is fried in a buttermilk mixture.
