About

At Mofo's Pizza & Pasta, every pizza slice is a passport to pleasure, and every pasta bite tells a tale of taste.

Established in 1986, Mofo's Pizza & Pasta in Incline Village, NV, has been a favorite for its commitment to using fresh ingredients straight from the market.

Owned and operated by the local Family Morrison, this pizza parlor also offers pasta dinners and a salad bar.

Their marinara sauce originates from Walter Morrison, a World War II P-38 pilot. Walter was shot down over the Mediterranean Sea, and the current brought him to the coast of Italy. Walter lived with Italian sheepherders in the mountains for six months. He learned the sauce recipe he later brought to America.

Walter's son, John Morrison, and his wife, Barbara, started Mofo's Pizza & Pasta in 1986. But when John lost his battle with cancer, their son, Justin Morrison, took over the family legacy.

The cozy, family-friendly atmosphere makes Mofo's Pizza & Pasta an ideal spot for casual gatherings, date nights, or a bite after exploring the nearby Lake Tahoe.

At Mofo's, you'll experience the true passion for honest cooking, where each dish is full of delicious ingredients, and there's something for everyone's palate.

Vibe

Mofo's Pizza & Pasta is a must-visit if you like an old-fashioned ambiance.

This traditional restaurant greets you with the hugging aroma of freshly baked pizza and simmering pasta sauces.

The dining room has a laid-back charm and oozes energy from the patrons during peak hours. Plus, the classic Italian decor creates a welcoming space that invites you to decompress and have a good time with friends or family around the table.

Menu & Drinks

Mofo's Pizza & Pasta has a varied menu of NY-style pizzas, pasta, and salads, promising something for everyone on a North Lake Tahoe getaway.

For appetizers, consider Mofo's Homemade Meatballs or Mozzarella Sticks, which make the homemade marinara sauce inspired by Walter's shine.

You might also want to try the Pesto or Garlic Chips made out of diamond-shaped thin pizza with homemade pesto sauce or garlic butter and cheese on top.

Now, let's focus on the star of the show, the pizza! Although the classic Margherita and Hawaiian pizzas are up for order, Mofo's offers innovative options, such as Mighty Mo, Traveler, or Western Comfort.

The ingredient combinations were carefully tried and tested on the Firenze and the Greek pizzas. Both feature Kalamata olives, artichoke hearts, and other ingredients that instantly transport you to Italy or Greece.

Pasta lovers can indulge in traditional dishes like lasagna, carbonara, and spaghetti and meatballs. But vegetarians weren't left out, as a vegetarian pasta dish is on the menu, too.

If you prefer a decadent, flavorful sandwich, choose the Meatball Sandwich or the Italian Sandwich, made on fresh sourdough bread.

Pair your meal with an unsweetened iced tea, a specialty beverage, or a fine glass of wine.

Mofo's Pizza & Pasta offers a homey vibe with tasty Italian fare, with the pizzas at the forefront.
