Founded by Cheryl Bransford, the company holds expertise in breeding horses specifically designed for amazing riding experiences. Cheryl spent nearly 25 years breeding these majestic animals in the area, ensuring their beauty and grace captivate everyone who visits.

In 2019, ownership of this beloved establishment changed hands to Sky Wilson, a veteran guide with a deep connection to the ranch. One of the highlights of Ya-Hoo Corrals is the unforgettable Evening Trail Ride and BBQ. This exhilarating package includes two hours of time spent exploring the beautiful and varied terrain on horseback. Getting There

The Ya-Hoo Corrals is actually really easy to get to, even though it may seem quite remote. 

It is just a few minutes from the downtown McCall area in the Payette National Forest. It's located just off Warren Wagon Road, near the Green Gate Snow Park trailhead area. 

Keep an eye out; there are signs that make it easy to find.

The cost of the experience can range based on when you visit and what you do. Make sure to check their website for packages and prices.  

Local Tips

  • If you are unsure of your ability on any of the rides, they will adjust the right to accommodate most needs, which was a really great thing for those who were less experienced.
  • Keep in mind Ya-Hoo Corrals only offers guided horseback rides at a walking speed. Gallops and independent riding are not available here.
  • If you want an experience on the trails but maybe not the actual riding part, they have a horse-drawn wagon ride option. This is a fun way to spend about an hour seeing the layout of the land.
  • Make sure to read all the rules before starting your adventure so you can relax and have some fun!
