About

During my recent family vacation, I had the opportunity to visit Mile High Marina in McCall, ID, reputedly one of the largest in the region.

It was a one-stop shop for everything we needed for our water adventure—from ski boats and pontoons to fuel and marine supplies. They even had food on offer (I highly recommend the fish tacos) and ice for our coolers.

I decided to amp up the fun by renting an Axis Wakeboard surf boat to take some friends wakeboarding, one of my absolute favorite activities.

The boat was powerful yet easy to handle, providing an exhilarating experience I don't usually get to enjoy. The rental process was quick and efficient, with the friendly marina staff guiding me through every step.

Alongside the ski boat, I also rented a jet ski for a few hours. The jet skis were modern, well-maintained, and packed quite a punch, making for a thrilling ride across the lake.

What really stood out at Mile High Marina, though, was the fantastic customer service. The staff was not only helpful but also provided valuable tips to enhance our experience. Plus, their safety video was an excellent touch, ensuring we were well-prepared for our adventures on the water.

All in all, my visit to Mile High Marina was a memorable part of my vacation, and I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of their services and equipment.

Cool Features About Mile High Marina

The Mile High Marina in McCall, Idaho, is a must-visit for anyone who loves the water! They've got everything sorted out for you.

I pointed a couple of friends in their direction when they needed a pontoon boat for fishing, and they were thrilled. In addition to that, they've got kayaks and pretty much any other water gear you might need. The best part? Their rental process is quick and efficient, so you can get out on the water ASAP and spend more time soaking up the fun instead of dealing with paperwork.

And you know what else is cool? They've got a restaurant called the Mile High Marina Grill right there. So, when you're spending a day on the water, you don't have to go far for some delicious food.

We ordered fish tacos as soon as we got to the grill, and they came with salsa and chips - so good! After grabbing some cold drinks and ice for our beers, we were back on the water in no time. And if you're not a fan of fish, they've got other tasty options like burgers and hot dogs. It's all super convenient and adds so much to the experience.

Getting There

Mile High Marina is open every day of the week during the season, and it’s easy enough to find. It’s right off First Street along Lake Street.

There’s a large parking area that’s easy to walk from, and Legacy Park is located just down the street.

Cost

The cost is really dependent on what you are renting, but I found it to be rather affordable overall. The 22-foot surf boat was $800 for the full day, minus taxes and fuel.
