Getting There

Getting here is easy.  It’s in Jug Mountain Ranch, which is located near Boulder Creek. You’ll need to take I-55 most of the way, depending on where you are located, and then a number of backroads, including W. Lake Fork Road, to get to the ranch. Jug Mountain is about seven miles from McCall’s downtown area, so it’s not too far.

Cost

The cost of the Blue Moon Yurt is $155 per person plus tax. You will also want to consider tips, as that’s not included in the build.

Keep in mind that you have to make payment for the experience in full prior to it, and your reservations are not refundable.

Prices are subject to change. Make sure to check their website for updates.

Local Tips

  • Check with them about the season start date because it can change year-to-year.
  • If you plan to come to do any type of skiing or snowshoeing, bring your own gear, or you will have to rent it (this is not included in the cost of the trip).
  • You can bring your own alcohol to consume at the property, but they do not serve any alcohol at the location, and I suggest doing so.
  • If you have family or friends coming with a food allergy, call them in advance so they can discuss options with you (don’t wait until that day when possible).
