Getting There
There are several ways to get to the Bear Basin Trailhead, but the most direct is to take Highway 55 north, heading towards New Meadows.
About two miles before you hit the city of McCall itself, look for a turn on the right side of the roadway. That is going to be the trailhead sign (it is not that obvious, so you may have to look a bit to find it).
Cost
There is no camping here, so there is no overall cost.
However, during the winter months, expect to pay around $25 for a ski pass per person.

- There is no overnight camping allowed at Bear Basin Trailhead, so you have to leave by dusk.
