About

Dining at Revivalist offers a chance to experience Huntsville's rich history in an elegant setting while dining on modern cuisine.

Located within the elegant 106 Jefferson Hotel, this restaurant occupies a site that was a bustling tavern in the late 1890s.

Since then, the building has housed various businesses, including a hotel, a power company, and a local furniture store. The name "revivalist" pays tribute to this era of constant reinvention. It also invites diners to embrace life's changes and rebirths while savoring creative entrees and drinks.

Revivalist opened in August 2021, bringing refined dining to Rocket City. The menu blends  European classics and American regional flavors, including Bell and Evans Farm Chicken Pasta to Roasted Duck Breast Ala Orange.

It's a popular dining destination since it serves breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday, brunch Saturday and Sunday, and dinner every night starting at 5 PM. The Cocktail Hour from 2 to 5 PM offers deals on libations and small bites, making it the ideal spot to recuperate after exploring nearby landmarks like the US Veterans Memorial Museum and Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment.

Add the Revivalist to your Huntsville getaway to experience its elegant decor, sophisticated ambiance, and versatile menus.

Vibe

The hotel's renovated and regal exterior sets the tone for your meal. The setting, decor, and atmosphere are top-notch as part of the Hilton brand. Its downtown location makes it convenient yet distinct as an upscale retreat.

The interior merges artful and historic elegance with modern touches. Dark wood accents, plush seating, and warm lighting recreate the ambiance of a vintage parlor. The sleek lines and contemporary artwork showcase its forward-thinking design.

The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, ideal for everything from casual brunches to celebratory dinners.

The dining options are suitable for every occasion. The bar will appeal to groups seeking imaginative cocktails and an energetic vibe. Ember's private dining area is for intimate or special events, while the main room accommodates families with children or a romantic rendezvous.

Whether it's a relaxed lunch or an evening of indulgence, this eatery is a must-see on your Rocket City itinerary.

Revivalist: Menu & Drinks

With so many menus, we can't properly review each. Instead, we will offer standouts from each to give you an idea of what you can expect.

With it opening at the crack of dawn, breakfast at the Revivalist is perfect before a day exploring area attractions like the Earlyworks Children's Museum. Options include granola with yogurt, egg and bacon classics, pancakes, and the Croque Madame. This hearty meal consists of Tennessee Black Forest ham, gruyere cheese, a fried farm egg, and bechamel sauce on toasted sourdough bread. Add the breakfast potatoes or grits, and you are all set for a day of sightseeing!

The midday menu features tasty shareables, such as deviled eggs and fried green tomatoes. Classic sandwiches, such as a Reuben and crispy chicken, are available, while the main course features shrimp and grits and steak with fries.

Come dinnertime, the menu blossoms with options, including many favorites from lunchtime.

Let's explore the aforementioned Bell and Evans Farm Chicken Pasta. This tasty meal features farm-raised chicken from renowned Bell & Evans Farms and orecchiette pasta, pancetta, artisan mushrooms, spring peas, charred cipollini, and parmesan cheese. The textures and flavors combine for a soul-satisfying meal.

Seafood lovers will marvel at the grilled farm-raised Scottish salmon. This delight features Green Goddess orzo, ricotta salata, shaved asparagus, lemon agrumato olive oil, and Frisse lettuce. The sauce Soubise unites the flavors and textures perfectly.

The drink menu is impressive, featuring Prohibition, Seasonal, and Revivalized cocktails, as well as a wide selection of wine and beer options. The Prohibition Espresso Martini will set the stage for a concert at the Von Braun Center.
