About

Bummer Burrito is a light-hearted, fun place to get some food. They are serious about the “bummer” part of their name, though.

One of the first things to know is that they have a sense of humor. On their sign, it says, “Did we forget something? Bummer. Call 1-800-suk-itup."

In all seriousness, though, it’s worth a stop. The truck is located between restaurants, and I like it because it’s so much faster than having to go inside to grab something.

Since I work nearby, it’s a great lunchtime treat.

You can walk up to the food truck, order from their menu, and then go on your way. Or, you can walk inside Little Brother, their restaurant, order to go and choose from anything on the menu. Either way, you’re getting great food.

And since Bummer Burrito is all about the flavor, you’ll find that everything is made hot and fresh for you. I also love that they toast the burritos outside, as that helps create a better shell—and you’ll need it to hold everything good inside!

Vibe

A cool, fun place to be, Bummer Burrito food truck is well worth the visit.

The restaurant Little Brother next door is very small. But since they go hand in hand, it all works out. There are a few tables to sit at inside the restaurant as it is more like a bar.

However, there’s an outdoor patio for both places that is spacious and comfortable, which is great for relaxing and enjoying your yummy burrito.

The entire location offers a pretty laid-back vibe, where you can order drinks from Little Brother and enjoy a fantastic burrito from Bummer Burrito.

Bummer Burrito: Menu & Drinks

If you decide you want burritos, stay outdoors at the Bummer Burrito food truck. The menu isn’t huge, but it’s very good.

I like to get the Breakfast Burrito most of the time. It has Thrashbrowns, as they call it, with a cheese blend, scrambled eggs, and Bummer sauce. You can add bacon or sausage to it if you want. It’s a huge burrito and super filling.

For more of a lunch option, check out the Frito Rito, which comes with chili Fritos, beans, queso (so gooey), cheese, and Bummer Sauce.

One of the nice things about this location is that you can modify the burrito however you would like to. For example, if you want to keep it vegan, go for it. They have Beyond Chorizo available, too. Or, a really great way to make this even more decadent is to “Quesorito It” which means they will add a second tortilla and put melted cheese between the two.

You can also get chips and queso (add the carnitas to it for a filling meal in itself) or a quesadilla as well.

You can grab a can of beer to go with it or one of the mixed cocktails.

Local Tips

  • The food truck is open most days, but as their sign says, they are “open daily from open ‘til close” without listed hours. Yes, they are humorous! Don’t worry, though, they actually have working hours.
  • If you’re stopping by on a lunch break, go to the website and place an order online. It is likely to be ready by the time you get there. This is a super fast way to get the best lunch.
  • If you are trying to wake up in the morning, grab a burrito and a cup of coffee (you can get a variety of coffee options at Little Brother).
  • They have a range of canned beer and drinks available, and the options tend to change. I like to think of it as the perfect time to try something new.
  • Note that at the truck, you can only use a credit card for a purchase. You can sit down outside and enjoy your food.
