About

Mystère by Cirque du Soleil is a theatrical production that combines acrobatics, dance, music, and visual effects to create a captivating, immersive experience. Presented at the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, Mystère is one of Cirque du Soleil's longest-running shows.

If you've never seen a Cirque du Soleil production, you are missing out on something unique and special. I've seen a number of them, and they are all wonderful. Every show displays athleticism, inspiring music, humor, drama, top-notch performances, and fascinating visuals.

Each Cirque du Soleil show has its own theme and storyline. Mystère revolves around the origins of human life and our connection with the universe. The production incorporates over a thousand spotlights, a rotating platform, and has an array of unique characters.

From high-flying acrobatics to awe-inspiring contortion acts, Mystère is meticulously choreographed to create an unforgettable visual spectacle that will keep the audience spellbound from start to finish.

While children of all ages are permitted at the show, it might not be appropriate for toddlers or energetic little ones. Most people over seven will be captivated for the entire show, but it runs approximately ninety minutes long. Use your best judgment when deciding if your child can last the whole time.

If you're staying in Henderson, Nevada and looking for an unforgettable experience, add Cirque du Soleil Mystère to your Las Vegas show itinerary.

Fun Facts & Cool Features

Started in 1980 in Canada, Cirque du Soleil began as a troupe of street performers. It quickly grew in popularity and became a traveling show that offered a unique take on the circus performance without using live animals.

The Cirque du Soleil organization has performed for over 180 million spectators, with productions presented in 450 cities in 60 countries.

In 1993, Mystère premiered at the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas strip, becoming the first permanent Cirque du Soleil show.

Honored eight times as "Best Production Show" by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Mystère has an international cast of over 65 performers featuring dancers, singers, musicians, and champion-caliber acrobats.

Mystère offers an exclusive VIP package that provides an artist's point of view from the stage to the theater. This unique opportunity includes director insights, fun production facts, an Artist Meet & Greet photo session, and VIP seating in the best view of the Mystère Theatre at Treasure Island. Refreshments and snacks are provided. Check the Cirque du Soleil website for more information on this unique opportunity.

There is a large inflatable snail character called "Alice the Escargot" in the show. The snail is controlled by four puppeteers inside who control her eyes, torso, and tail. They have to move Alice around the stage by following markings on the floor.
