About

If you're tired of spending your days inside, but the heat is sweltering, have no fear! Cowabunga Bay Water Park is here to save the day!

This waterpark will not only make the dessert heat bearable but will also be a blast! The glistening pools, towering slides, and rides at Cowabunga Bay Water Park are a veritable oasis for the whole family in the middle of Nevada.

Race down the Point Panic and the Rock-A-Hoola water slides for exhilarating fun! When done, hop into a splash pool at the base of each water slide. These make for a refreshing pitstop and exciting opportunity for "people watching."

Cowabunga Bay has you covered for those just looking to chill, too. The Cowabunga River allows you to relax as the current gently takes you through a retro surf scene, with water features, giant surfboards, and even a '67 VW Bug.

Wild Surf allows guests to ride on the world's largest artificial wave. You and three others will take a raft off a dizzying 60-foot drop into the huge swell. Riders will be tossed too-and-fro before landing safely in the pool below.

The crown jewel, however, is the Surf-A-Rama Wave Pool. The pool continuously sends waves up to four feet high for the revelers to ride and is set inside an old 1950s drive-in movie theater. At 35,000 square feet, it's one of the largest in Nevada and THE wave pool in Las Vegas.

Each attraction has its height and weight restrictions, so double-check before deciding which you want to go on!

The Cowabunga Bay Water Park hours differ by season but run from 11 am to 9 pm on summer weekends.

When you're ready to take a break in some shade, Cowabunga Bay Water Park offers several cabanas to rent. And, while Cowabunga Bay has plenty of food and drink options, you are more than welcome to bring in your own.

Fun Facts and Cool Features

The sun setting at Cowabunga Bay Water Park can be just the beginning of the festivities. Saturdays at the Bay are especially exciting, as each night ends with a dazzling fireworks display and a chance for you to turn your floating tube into the best seat in the house!

There are themed events as well, such as Neon Nights. With glow stick necklaces and wristbands, patrons light up the area in neon while zipping down slides or surfing the waves.
