About

Savoring fine Italian fare in a life-size snow globe sounds like something from a fairy tale, but it's a reality in Midway, Utah!

The Cafe Galleria offers intimate meals in what they call Alpenglobe dining areas. These unique structures are glass-encased, heated, and well-lit for an unforgettable dining experience.

Aside from the Alpenglobes, there's the cafe built in 1898 and recently renovated in 2020. Cafe Galleria serves what they call "rustic Italian" and is easy to find on Midway's Main Street.

The establishment's dedication to quality and tradition began with its founder, Michael Donahue, who was inspired by his travels through Italy. He was particularly taken by the wood-fired pizzas in the small, family-owned pizzerias that dot the Italian countryside.

With a desire to replicate that experience stateside, he opened Cafe Galleria, and the rest, as they say, is mouthwatering history.

As you can tell, this isn't your average pizza joint. The attention to detail is evident in every slice. The dough is hand-stretched, topped with locally sourced ingredients, and baked perfectly in their wood-fired oven.

Beyond pizza, they offer traditional fares like lasagna, Caprese salad, and twists on steaks, salmon, and chicken.

Whether you dine in an Alpenglobe or the quaint cottage, Cafe Galleria takes pride in creating a welcoming atmosphere for its patrons. And in the summer, dine al fresco under the twinkling lights of their beautiful patio.

Cafe Galleria brings a slice of the Italian countryside to the Heber City area. This is where friends, family, and foodies come to enjoy a meal crafted with love and served with care.

Vibe

The first thing you'll notice when you see Cafe Galleria is the charming facade adorned with warm, inviting colors and hanging plants that create an inviting atmosphere.

Within, you are embraced by a cozy and vibrant ambiance. The decor is a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern sophistication. The walls are adorned with local artistry, adding a touch of cultural vibrancy and promoting local talent.

The soft, warm lighting and natural daylight create a welcoming and tranquil environment.

The cafe boasts a spacious and intimate layout, encouraging friendly chats and deep conversations. The blend of plush sofas, rustic wooden tables, and comfortable chairs provides an array of seating options.

At Cafe Galleria, every element is thoughtfully designed to provide an atmosphere that is relaxed yet lively, artistic yet comfortable, and modern yet homely.

This unique vibe makes Cafe Galleria more than just an eatery; it's an experience, a haven, a second home.

Cafe Galleria: Menu & Drinks

One of the must-try items on the menu is their gourmet Margherita pizza. This isn't your run-of-the-mill Margherita. The dough is crispy on the outside yet tender and airy inside. It's the perfect base for the fresh, bright flavors of tomato sauce, basil, and high-quality mozzarella. It's a symphony of simplicity, where each ingredient gets its moment in the spotlight.

Cafe Galleria also serves hearty breakfasts, perfect for starting your day exploring the area's wonders. The Cast Iron Skillet meals showcase potatoes, two eggs, and any three toppings from an array of options.

Lunch crowds will marvel at the various salads available and the bagel sandwiches. The Italian Sausage sandwich is for those famished. This filling meal has an Italian sausage patty, roasted peppers and onions, and marinara sauce. Cheddar and parmesan cheese are melted on this mountain of deliciousness to round it all out.

Cafe Galleria boasts an impressive wine list offering drinks by the glass or bottle. Mimosas are available as are on tap and bottled beers and ciders.

Each dish and drink is meticulously crafted to provide diners a satisfying experience long after the meal. And with the unique seating areas offered, Cafe Galleria should be on your vacation to-do list.
