The out-and-back trail is about 7 km (4.35 miles) with an elevation gain of 320 meters (1,049 feet). Here are step-by-step driving directions to Bijagual Waterfall from Jaco:
- Head northeast on Av Pastor Díaz toward Calle Lapa Verde
- Continue straight to stay on Av Pastor Díaz
- Turn right onto Costanera Sur/Route 34
- Continue on Costanera Sur/Route 34 for approximately 10 kilometers
- Turn left onto Route 320 and follow for about 5 kilometers
- Continue onto Camino a Bijagual
- Follow the signs until you reach the entrance to Bijagual Waterfall
