About

The word "ridiculous" often insinuates something deserving of mockery or being absurd. In the case of Ridiculous Burgers, the meaning shifts to imply "incredible, creative, and enormous."

Ridiculous Burgers is in the vibrant heart of Jaco and has earned a reputation for its diverse menu. It's also a go-to for delivery and take-out, making it the perfect pick for a juicy burger at Jaco Beach.

Because of this central location, it is easy to schedule a day trip to Carara National Park followed by a meal at this hotspot.

The restaurant's founders wanted to transform the traditional burger, and transform it they did! While we'll discuss these in more detail in the following section, the Monster Burger is the epitome of ridiculous, towering over half a meter tall!

Vibe

When your restaurant claims to create the best burgers, some of which are towers of beef, your vibe better equal this hype. Rest assured, Ridiculous Burgers delivers on this front.

The facade's sizeable red fire engine sign can be seen from far away, luring diners and curious customers to its counters. While the eatery is beside other businesses, you won't miss spotting it with its various signs!

The inside could also be labeled ridiculous, not because it's massive, but because every square inch has been utilized. Picture walls filled with LED screens displaying food and drink menus, a bar area, a T-shirt vending machine, signs, and company slogans…you get the idea!

In the middle of this "organized chaos" are a handful of tables with street views. While seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, dining inside is perfect after a day at Adventure Tours Costa Rica.

While the decor could be stimulation overload for some, it reflects the vibe and atmosphere of Ridiculous Burgers. Here, the idea is to have fun while savoring creative sandwiches and drinks the size of Texas. More on that shortly.

Ridiculous Burgers: Menu & Drinks

As you can imagine, the menu at Ridiculous Burgers is, well, ridiculous! Since there are so many options, we'll limit ourselves to some of the more creative choices.

As mentioned, the Monster Burger is a beast of a handheld featuring four burgers with three patties each! But wait, there's more! Between this mound of beef are onion rings, tomatoes, lettuce, red onions, and their secret sauce. And if you're still hungry, you can "nibble" on half a kilo of French Fries and two orders of onion rings!

What makes Ridiculous Burgers stand out from other burger joints are the creative options available. They have lamb, Mahi-Mahi, rabbit, buffalo burgers, and many more.

If price isn't an issue, check out the Premium Burgers like the Wagyu. This tasty handheld features a Japanese Wagyu beef patty, lettuce, tomato, red onions in vinaigrette, homemade pickles, sautéed mushrooms, and roasted vegetable aioli.

The Wagyu and Caviar Burger is for the big spenders and is the ultimate regarding decadence! This extravagant handheld showcases black caviar, Wagyu beef patties, unique spices with fresh vegetables, and drizzled with aioli. This mound of deliciousness comes on an artisan gourmet bun.

After exploring area attractions like El Miro, you'll want to quench your thirst. The kids, and those young at heart, will love the Cookie Monster Crazy Shake. This 16 oz vanilla-flavored shake is filled with Oreos and decorated with Cookie Monster, candies, and marshmallows.

The Big Drinks are adult libations on steroids! Imagine a 55 oz mimosa or specialty cocktail, and you get the idea! They also have coffee, shots, soft drinks, natural fruit drinks, regular-sized cocktails, and the list goes on and on.

On your Costa Rican vacation, adding a visit to Ridiculous Burger is a must-do, if nothing more than to read the ridiculous menu!
